I made a few sigs today tried the pop out effect for the first one and achieved a not quite good result

There is no actual Pop-Out effect in it.
What you call a pop out is simply a background with a render,and feather borders.
Pop Out is when a part of the Character is outside of the picture.

u have any tuts for this effect not the one like a square sig and a render popping out rather like the one u have

second one is not that bad but the first on ehm, i had hard time to see something in that -.-
popout- my ava and sig those are nothing extra but you will get the idea
you your village sig -.-
check some tuts and get some ideas from them then you can try your own style etc

And the second one is to dark and monotone. And the blurring is ugly.

Mine is not a Pop Out.

It is a clearly Air signature,it does not have any restrictions.

Exercise on normal Pop Out,just take a normal Stock,leave one part of the character intact,and the other part masked(rendered),put some effects,and there you go.
After that,you can do your own background with renders and many more,Rome wasn't built in 1 day you know.
