Why do people still belive feminism is okay? by this i mean the following represented in the image:

so yeah.... Feminism is a minor form of the exact opposite of the previous Male dominated society , i am for equality ; but right now both gender's have advantages over the other , some good examples
For females: The picture above
For males: Higher pay (on average) is one , Males still dominate gender segregated sports and the sports publicity or politics ,

So basically i kinda posted this to see if anyone agreed that : Equality (although many believe it has been achieved) has not been achieved ; whether it is racial , age or gender (in MEDC's)

It is an opinionated conclusion , so there is no specific answer. Do YOU agree equality still doesn't exist?

Of course it hasn't been achieved. There is extremism in every belief, and whether it's right or wrong depends on the viewpoint. I do think that the image representation up there is not equality though.

I agree with ya, the whole feminist movement is bs, they don't want equality, they want more(IMO.) I'm all for women having equal rights, they deserve it, just as much as they deserve equal pay, and to be respected just as well as any man, but it seems most die hard feminists don't want to stop at that. Instead of fighting for equality, they just attack males, and as the picture you posted shows, they only want equality in situations that are beneficial for them. I think it's a bs movement. Its 2013 dammit, we should all be equal on all matters, but guess that's not possible.

For the pay rates thing, where I live, you get paid more on merit, not by gender.

I love that system personally, means everyone is in the same boat.

While it is true some women can be OTT about it, it isn't true for them all. Though, some women hate it now if a guy holds the door open for them... what am I supposed to do? I hold doors for everybody, regardless of gender.

In short; Gender shouldn't matter and both sexes should be treated equally, like in your picture, women shouldn't get treatment men don't and the same for the other way.

There may be female staff on Narutobase, but can women that follow Islam in their home country under law show their bodies in public? Nope. If I'm correct, they're not to go out in public without a man accompanying them either. The idea of Equality would mean that everyone on our planet would be universally considered equal. i agree to a certain extent.. obviously you get some women who abuse there 'power' over men aswell but it doesnt mean they are all like that
