You didn't avoid the lava, which happens as soon as the hands are made.

As for your dragon i make a fist and seal it's mouth shut, causing the fire he tried to expel, build and then blow him up. (I can manipulate any and all forms of earth a will{means no handsigns} check bio. Please lets not agrue over this).
