No love for Chopper?

I read the manga then when I caught up a while back I watched a few episodes from the chapters I enjoyed the most. I had always envisioned Chopper to have a really deep and manly voice. I was shocked when I heard his in the anime. Ever since then I've been fascinated when by him when I watch a random episode.
