How Are you people goingto list a bunch of people but not naruto? Like why the **** are you even on this site than?

I was unaware that it was a requirment to have naruto as our favorite manga main character to join narutobase. I'm sure I and the rest of the members here just accidently skiped that rule when signing up.

because there are several different manga's that are a hell of a lot better than naruto :|

also just because you like the series does not mean you have to like the main character

my favourite naruto characters are ... Rock lee, Gaara, Minato, Kimimmaro...

naruto is knowhere near that list :|

Why? He's simply awesome. It's curious to see how the author encompassed his violent and irritable side with a quite funny and cute one without looking cheesy o_o More than he getting soft, it'd be more around the line of having very organic and human-like interactions. Also I find his search of his-self in that chaotic world very relatable, and I felt quite happy to see how the complexity of his character unfolded in the manga (it was also creepy as hell, but those revelations and development sure were great plot twists)

Goku, Yusuke and Hei would be some of my favorite MC's. I really like all the MC's of all the animes I've seen (Edward, Lelouch, Luffy, etc) but Naruto. I used to like Naruto as a character but eh, I'm not a fan of him as an MC anymore.

I would have to agree with OP.

Guts is one of my favorite main heroes. Not because he is different from other main heroes but because his character is so well developed in anime. He's so well written character that it's almost a sin not to like him.
