favorite kung fu movie?

oh man if you wanna get on kung-fu movies! Man am if aint a kung-fu junkie.... My fvorite is the Evil sect with Jet li. AKA the Kung-fu master. And it is no english version of this movie. It's when(in short) Jet Li known as Mokie parents are killed by other sects and he is hit by the Jinx palm and cannot learn kung fu get his curse broke by an evil kung fu master chained to a boulder, and is taught kung fu by that evil master just to upset his rival and than is able to learn all other kung fu's very easily takes revenge on those who killed his parents. This movie is very epic considering when it was made.

BTW... thank you SO MUCH for this thread!!! I'm ADDICTED to Gung Fu/Kung Fu films...
... I love the old ones before Jackie Chan was even heard of (though Project A and his work with Sammo Huang rock) like the ones Meng Fei are in (he's my childhood hero!!! I'd be surprised if you ever heared of him but he's Stephen Chow's dad (Stephen Chow is the main star in Kung Fu Hustle).
Jet Li films are great and my faves of his are Once upon a time in China and Hero.
Michelle Yeoh (from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Wing Chun and more recently in is so in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies) is so beautiful, talanted and graceful...I love her.
Donnie Yen is amazing in Iron Monkey!!! And of course ... Chow Yun Fat in God of Gamblers and The Killers!!!

Excacly what mei-mei said. Just include Enter the dragon, Ip Man, The Prodigal Son, Drunken Master, Fist of Fury, The Way of the Dragon, shoalin Temple, The seven samurai, and the bodyguard from beijing... plus many many more... im also a bit of a Martial arts Addict

I just watched Ip man yesterday, and Ip Man 2 two or three days ago on netflicks both were great! I also watched Jackie Chans drunken master from the 70's or 80s it was pretty good. I want to watch a show called "Old Dirty Kung Fu" I've seen it once and want to check it out again.. I love the english dubbing on the old moveies its almost as good as the old godzilla movies. Thanks for the replys everyone keep them comming.

If pandas spent more time making babies than doing kung fu they wouldn't be endangered. Kung fu is not for pandas.... jk....
