I'd have to say that I still love the Blair Witch Project. Just the fact that these guys trolled everyone and made several people think it was real was pure genius.
For an actual horror movie, the only one that made me actually sleep with the TV on was The Grudge. It wasn't scary, just creepy.
High tension was intense man, and the ending caught me off guard.
I agree that the original Exercist is one of my favorite scary movies. When she walks down the stairs in a backwards backbend, it really freaked me out for some reason. the original Amnityville horror was good also.
the shining (the overall build on isolation and music makes this movie unforgettable)
It (everyone i know who watched that when they were young are afraid of clowns)
they live ( a very good horror that's is one of the best by john carpenter)
the devils rejects (easily one of the best of the 2000s)
psycho (another one of hitchcocks finest)
nosferatu (very freaky silent film max screck looks terrfying)
the ring (excellent film mind shouting at the tv run you idiot)
i love horror movies <3
too many favourites.and those of you who picked resident evil...its not a horror movie anymore though i still love it.
and no horror movie actually scares me anymore
