The Cherub series are one of the best books I've ever read. Second, I would say The Hunger Games trology.

Its either the SKulduggery Pleasant series, The Warrior Cats series, or the Charlie Bone series which I have finished reading.

there are is also this one book I'll never forget called The Music of Dolphins by Karen Hesse
it's kinda childish but it was a very good read and I highly recommend it if you like drama-ish type books ^.^

The Lovely Bones- Alice Sebold
The Road- Cormac McCarthy
Who Killed My Daughter?- Lois Duncan
And anything written by Stephen King (or Richard Bachman for that matter)

Also, he has written short stories, but not full length books, but I love Edgar Allan Poe's works.

Mmm Harry Potter is my favourite series of all time, I think it's because I read it at such an impressionable age, because I'm certain I've read other book with better character development and even a better more complicated, sticky story line.. but Harry is dear and close to my heart..
