Assuming politicians watched anime and developed favorite characters based on resonance or predilections, who would they be? Give your reason for each.

Bernie Sanders: Naruto; great heart, great intentions, but how much Naruto's ideas can work is debatable....

When a professor asked students in his small class why they had chosen to study real estate, the new student stood up.

Bernie sanders is a money grabbing jew who has no idea about economics seriously. Not saying trump or hillary are better but Bernie is saying things for votes which he won't make true.

Griffith is far too noble and principled (even if in an evil way) for that analogy to do him justice come on! He would be the favourite character of Niccolo Machiavelli. Or Genghis Khan. Or the devil, if he exists.

Hillary Clinton by contrast is just an opportunistic thug. She would be the favourite character of that pretend-queen ant in HxH who was crushed by Feitan, at best.

In fact most of the politicians of the western world would best be represented by the fodder ant characters in HxH who were all vying for queen-hood. This extends to the males like David Cameron (who wants to be a queen in the real world too, it seems).

The only exceptions are Trump, Putin, Marine le Pen and some East European leaders like Viktor Orban of Hungary. These guys come close to being real leaders and I'd give them the honour of being analogized to decent characters in anime (I leave the anime characters to your imagination). Edit ok le Pen is Integra Hellsing or Cornelia li Britannia (see that feminists?).

But even they pale in comparison to the men who made history.

Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, Napoleon, Bismarck, some of the founding fathers of the US (and their equivalents in Asia, too). Now those were men who made history. Alexander would be the favourite character of Skull-Knight from Berserk. The rest I'm having a hard time trying to find a good anime character.
