Gravity curves spacetime, light travels in spacetime, so in principle gravity being "faster than light" in certain conditions is merely "cheating" so to speak so it doesn't violate General Relativity.

Sigh. Gravity does not have a speed because it is a force. Light is a partial and there for has a speed.
Force has propagation speed, it simply doesn't have propagation delay like Light :)

gravity is not a "thing" its a force as KillerMongoose wisely noted
and even most powerful gravitational pulls/pushs are hardly half as fast as the speed of light

however there is another force called 'dark energy' which accelerates the expansion of the universe, and this acceleration is believed
to be much faster than SoL

Dark energy and dark matter are currently unfalsifiable and remain only as theoretical models atm.

It depends on the gravity, I mean, gravity on earth is 9.81 m/s, on the moon it is about 1.62 m/s, considrably lower then on Earth, while the gravity on the sun theoretically will be 28 times bigger then the earth. The bigger a planet is, the higher the gravity on it is.

But if you take black holes, there is the gravity so high that light can not escape. Again, it all depends on the fact what one takes as 'gravity'
