Having faith and courage means finding a way,
To speak words others never wanted to say.
It means speaking from the heart,
while using your mind, having patience
And being kind.
It means telling it how it is,
When you wish to lie.
It means finding reasons to be happy,
When all you want to do is cry.
It means achieving the impossible,
Always keeping hold of your ground,
It means picking yourself up again,
When you get knocked down.
It means laughing when you want to frown,
Or trying to be happy when you're sad,
It means learning to walk with your head held up high,
And take the good with all the bad.
It means having faith in yourself,
And the rest of mankind too,
The courage is to embrace your fears,
Cuz they have nothing against you.
