I'm really enjoying the Fairytail zero side stories this gives way more depth to an already lacking manga to lift it to a more pleasant to read stage.

The Fairy Tail Zero series should replace the actual series. It is very well written so far and has so much potential! it has given more depth and complexity to Fairy Tail which really needed it. Did not expect Mavis and the group to get defeated. Looking forward to their next move in this chapter. It felt shorter than the other chapters though! Mavis's magic is so awesome. She can create illusions using her vivid imagination. Such a suitable form of magic for someone like her.

Anyways it was sad for Mavis but I think this will be the moment her powers start developing and her becoming truly powerful.

Excited for the next months chapter and I want to see the formation of FT.

This chapter brings something new to FT (death). ^^
It's interesting to see that Precht and co weren't that strong at the first, as long as I understand they are not mages yet.
Mavis is badass, but that master though.
Yuriy is injuret and we got how Precht lost his eye.
