[Discussion] Fairy Tail vs Dbz Plot

So I was thinking the other day and Fairy Tail (FT) has a very similar plot to Dbz.

1) You have the start up where you learn about the characters and their powers. They had to fight Eisenwald and Phantom Lord which was similar to Raditz and Vegeta.

2)You have FT having to bring down Grimoire Heart where the characters have to fight all the members till they can finally take on Hades. This is similar because like Frieza Hades had a connection to FT in the past.

I know I'm skipping a bit here but go with it.

3) After FT goes to the Grand Magic Games (GMG) they learn from a time traveler that the future is going to be horrible so they must get stronger to fight the incoming dragons like the androids.

4)Tartarus is similar to Cell in that they have some regeneration but not to the point of ridiculousness.

Am I the only person that sees this?

I don't really see how many episodes a fight was translates into if the plots seem similar...

Sayan taking a beating > Friend dies > Sayan gets pissed of > Starts screaming > Turns into super powerfull blond due > Beats the enemy

DB has more asspulls than FT

They arnt similar at all I love DBz as a kid but there really is no plot

I love ft plot because of how much screen time and mini plots each character has
Ezra focusing on jedall
Natsu Wendy gajeel want to know what happened to thier dragons
Grey finding out what happened to his real parents
Laxus being team player
Lucy trying to get all 12 keys getting stronger and narrating the whole thing

Ft plot is awesome because while it does have a main lead male/female other important ppl in series do not get left out in terms of character development not to mention fights speeches and art work is awesome

All anime do same thing main character goes through some type of mental hardship and then just becomes od stronger
Exp naruto against Gaara after seeing sasuke and Sakura hurt he went ape shit

Or DBz when friza blasted krillen to bits goku suddenly got stronger etc idk why ppl give fairytail shit about this when every major anime does this and dnt even get me started on bleach against uliqorria

Yes it's a great show it has friendship love amazing action good enough plot to wonder what's gonna happen and make u continue watching

Sorry but no.. If you watch/read the Saiyan-Namek(Freeza) Saga they are better than Fairy Tail.. Better plots/subplots better fighting better comedy and development.. That and Freeza is better than any Fairy Tail villain

I could even say Dragon Ball part 1 had better and more entertaining plots.. And the tournaments crap on the GMG arc
