Okay. Erza was amazing this chapter!

I loved seeing August in Action. So he really is familiar with all types of Magic. Want to see how he gets defeated.

Inb4 Erza one shots Irene

But love this chapter as a whole!

The whole flashback moment and Makarov's little speech wasn't that bad, untill it got ruined by Gray and Natsu being smothered in tits and staring each other with half their faced obstructed by Erza's ginormous boobs.

Also no mention to them that gramps just died. Bit strange.

And to top it of Eileen is here and everybody looks pretty much out of commission so I can't wait how the 'plot armor five' are going to beat this over the top mage. Unless this Erza link will play a role in the fight coming to an early stop, logically they shouldn't be able to win this fight after all the hype she got.

August is a badass, he is just playing at this point.

Well there's always the chance all 5 will get there butts handed to them. But there's always Acknowledga. He and Irene didn't exactly finish their fight. He could show up to try and kill Natsu and Wendy but get impeded by Irene who wants to kill them herself. We can hope.

I thought the Gramps thing was because they received some kind of telepathic message or something.

I would expect a bit more of an reaction if they found out Makarov died, while they were dicking around.

Glad that the meaningless fight between Gray and Natsu is now completely over and I'm even more glad that Erza and Irene finally meet. I'm not liking what she said though. I remember someone suggesting that Irene was Erza from the future or something, but I was vehemently against that as putting aside it's stupid, it makes no sense. I really hope that Irene didn't mean it literally when she said they are the same.

Not sure what she meant by that last panel, I just hope it's not some idiotic plot twist, the usual stuff.
But yeah, it was a pretty good chapter overall. August is getting some screentime. I actually want to see more of what he can do, considering he is the strongest Spriggan overall and one of the strongest characters in Fairy Tail. (I mean, toying with Jellal and his group is a feat on it's own, but still) .

I feel this will have the same theme as when jellal was evil and he split, one part of him in the magic council ext

But Eileen is Erzas evil side from her childhood who split or something

I agree it can't be a future Erza unless its another one from a even different timeline. Reason is that the Erza from future Lucy's timeline died along with the rest of the guild - so its not possible for Irene to be from the future again unless it's from a completely new time line. The clone theroy is more possible but I'm hoping it's not the case here as well

If I'm not mistaken that part was because Erza quoted Makarov when she said "Listen & listen well". That is something only Makarov said when lecturing The guild.
I don't think they have any idea of his death atm.

I hope, for the love of all thats sacred that Irene isn't Erza from the future or some nonesense like that. Pleeeeeaaaassseeeee.... Cuz he already dabbled into the whole time travel thing and tbh I never liked that kind of thing. I wish Irene is Erza's mom or, the very least, her twin. But if its something like she being Erza's bad half and they being like 2 parts of a demon created by Zeref or some other nonesense like that... Please don't hiro!
