Did she just sent Acnologia flying back wards with a casual attack, when his counter attack failed to do jack to her?:|
He who mocked Igneel for not being strong enough gets a shocking expression upon witnessing her power.:kk:
I doubt even Zeref himself can achieve such a feat as easily as Eileen did. I'd expect no less from a blood relative of our own almighty Erza. :bdpf:

I don't think you need to think too much about it yet. Acnologia looks down upon humans like they're bugs and as such he probably doesn't even distinguish between them. Zeref is one exception and what he said might have been just a way of saying that he acknowledges her as a mage and as part of Zeref's faction.
I have 0 reasons to overthink or overreact, Power structure would be the last thing I'd take seriously in this manga. But there should be a limit to how much we can ignore. I actually find it cool and all that we have real skilled humans who can challenge him to a fight but it's clear as day that the author is ignoring way too much for the sake of making her look cool.
His reaction to universe one is justifiable, considering it's his first time seeing such a magic and all but I don't think he'll have to make "What the hell is this unbeatable power?" face at a casual attack, like he did when she attacked him for the first time to let us know he acknowledged her. He was even more surprised than the expression Zeref had when he saw Natsu's flame dragon king mode. I could understand it ,if it stopped at that, But, she actually sent him flying through rocks. That's not even the end of it, His counter attack in response was dodged like it's nothing. Strictly speaking from the way the skirmish took place, it appeared as though she is actually superior to him. Not to mention, she actually looked far more confident than the king of dragons himself. :yeah:
In all honesty, She made August look like no big deal when he's originally supposed to be just as strong if not stronger. A furious August did something and nothing significant happens, where as, even Acnologia gives expressions like "just who the hell is she?' when our almighty Erza's apparent mother simply tilts her staff.
It's fine if you think I am over analyzing things, It kind of ruins how his character's been presented so far, At least for me. For me, it's no different from Whitebeard not giving a flying rats ass about Mihawk and then getting shocked at a casual flying slash from Zoro.
Well, he said her magic is learned from Zeref, if what you said would be the case, then he should say something like "you're fairly impressive, considering you're one of Black Wizard's underlings" or something along these lines. I wonder if Zefer had something to do with the S12 being as strong as they are.

Acno was pushed back and thats about it.There was absolutely no indication that he was scared of Eileen or there was any inconsistency in power levels.Acno wasnt even in his dragon form.And all the surprise looks on acno's face is probably the result of him thinking that some random human has that kind of power.No way was there any indication of Eileen being superior to Acno.And Eileen only was confident bcoz of her magic that she tons of time to prepare.She herself admitted that Zeref can defeat Acno only if he has the power of Fairy Heart.

I am pretty sure you were trying to say that Hiro went out of his way to make eileen look cool bcoz Acno was having all kinds of surprised expressions.I replied to that and I dont see anything wrong with it.I am saying that you are over reacting to the expressions Acno made.And Eleen being more confident than Acno doesnt mean anything really.We have seen villains look all cocky and stuff many times before.

Is Acnologia's dragon form any stronger? He went back to human when he was fighting Irene, and he's been far too strong for everyone in either form before that.

Maybe in Dragon form he has endurance and invincibility of a Dragon. But turned weaker when he was in human form.
His dragon roar blast can destroy Tenroujima theoretically(Tenroujima island survived but Acno's blast was as big as that island).
Irene maybe wont survived Dragon form Acno blast.
