Wow great chapter, I wasnt expecting Zeref to be the Emperor. Good development manga wise.
I dunno if its me only but I think Zeref isnt the Original Emperor Springan im thinking maybe he killed and took place of the old Emperor
Which is why he is accussed to randomly disappear.

Wow, didn't see that coming but i kinda like this twist and it kinda fits in with fairy tail zero.

Zeref taught mavis how to use magic, he hates his curse and wants to die. We see from the card it's mavis and she is the key. Maybe it has something to do with lumen histoir, mavis being the light that can stop Zeref's darkness. Zeref united all the guilds to get all the strongest mages together to push Natsu to get stronger so he could Kill Zeref, his brother.

No idea but i like that FT is outmatched seriously, will make for a better fight.

I don't really like that Zeref is the emperor, doesn't really make sense to me idunno i'll wait til more chapters release to explain it.

I don't Natsu will fight Zeref this arc I doubt he would beat him as of now. I think he's just gonna learn more about his origins

I am starting to think that Fairy Tail won't beat the 12 this arc, if Zeref is the ruler of the Empire than its unlikely that Fairy Tail will be able to put a dent into it before the end.

I think that Fairy Tail will make it to the capital and meet Zeref and he will let them walk away AFTER he tells them all about Natsu's past as END. This arc will be about Natsu's origin with Zeref and the 12 being set up as villains further down the road.
