For a moment there I thought Levi would become the next Guild Master because she seemed the only one who was doing all the responsible work, but yeah Erza seems to be the most obvious choice atm. In fact around half of this chapter was actually a remake of the 2nd FT chapter when Lucy just joined the guild. Then they also all started to brawl and Mira got a bottle against her head during the turmoil, but back then they were stopped by Makarov...and now Erza ^^

But above all I love how Hiro played around with Mest's character. I wonder whether he used to be an S-class of the guild? Curious that what happened to Makarov as it seemed something happened with him .-.

Well, deciding the new guild master was pretty simple.

They just picked the one person that everyone will follow the orders of and are too afraid to talk back to.

4/5 today. I liked everything in the chapter basically, it was written well for once. And mest is definitely one of the most interesting characters so far, I wss waiting to see hiw he looked like, and I must say that design looked badass, welld done hero.

Very nice find.With this Mashima did two chapters that have some similarities with previous old chapters.Nostalgia feels just like Mashima said once in twitter.

I will read both chapters 437 and 438 now.I haven't read them yet.XD

I really hope so. The geographical setting always interested me, but Hiro never really explained anything about it other than the Kingdom of Fiore and that the continent its on used to be called Ishval.

And lol I just noticed Max has gotten again a broom shoved down his backdoor xd seriously the weirdest running gag ever.

I was hoping Laxus would have stepped in blocking Natsu, Gray, Gajeel and Elfman all at once and then being declared the master... Well I suppose Erza...is good enough still leaves a sour taste in my mouth that Laxus isn't the new Guild master though.
