What a great chapter to portray Lucy like a *****.
So literally everybody is traveling and chasing dreams and becoming stronger. While it's Lucy's dream to become a serious reporter and let's some lame publishers who know nothing about magic exploit her body for sales.
If this was chapter 1 Lucy I would be okay with it, but double timeskip Lucy who said so many times that she has grown and become wiser and more of that bullshit has reached 0 growth compared to the start of the series.
She is still too dependent of everybody always saving her ass and her in front of that map illustrates that beautifully.
I don't care about stronger Natsu because it was apparent that this timeskip was just a plotdevice powerup. But even Lucy wasn't impressed by the fodders. Why not take some more time to build up more hype and get a decent foe for Natsu to pummel.
Now it's an exact copy of the first timeskip where Natsu kicks down the door to save Macao's son from the fodder guild.
The priority of this chapter was to draw Lucy as risky as possible without showing anything, the story came in second. The only hope is that Hiro does a better job with the others.
