It was a fun chapter, Gajeel is confirmed to have kept his Iron Shadow Dragon mode, which is cool. Plus Rogue and Sting are holding their own against Mard apparently. Good start to FT Friday.

Good character design for the baddies when they transformed. I missed the old Natsu and Gajeel rivalry but this chapter made up for it.

I was scared for a few pages that the enemies would be killed almost instantly after Natsu and Gajeel transformed, that would've been a bit too much. I can do with two more chapters of fighting in this battle.

Good character design for the baddies when they transformed. I missed the old Natsu and Gajeel rivalry but this chapter made up for it.

Really because honestly Tempesta and his partner who's name escapes me looked pretty done in one hit. I mean they were on the ground so...it didn't seem like they could fight them anyways.



OT: Glad Juvia showed legitimate weakness from injury. So Ki-So wasn't completely embarrassed.


Sucks Dragonslayers always find a way to magically over power and make their opponents look like shit. Oh well that's Fairy Tail.

Other than that good chapter and seriously Minerva can cook, that's pretty interesting, she is the first decent cook from entire series if she really does, though the dish that happy wants is pretty weird though.lmao

Really disappointed in strength of Nine Demon gates.

I don't know if this chapter is missing a page or two, but if it really ended like that: DOUBLE FACEPALM. Not a bad chapter. For now: 3/5. I will change the rating if there is indeed a few pages missing.

Magically? Well it's magic by default. Also dragon slaying magic has been depicted since the start of the series as a rare, old and very powerful type of magic which is strongly influenced by emotions. Finally one of the demons even said in this chapters that they should stop seeing Gajeel and Natsu as 'humans', but as real 'dragon slayer mages'. Meaning dragon slayers can be considered -outside category -

So in the case of at least the dragon slayers you should't really emphasize that strongly on 'magical' power ups as they're not that abnormal for them.

For starters while both Sting and Rogue look like they have received quite the beating, Mard Geer seems hardly bothered. So saying that Sting and Rogue are on par with him isn't really true, even more so when it seems Mard is only using one arm. It's more realistic to say that Mard isn't really trying atm. Also it has been quite longer than just one week since the end of the Grand Magic Games.
