Oops, forgot about that xD but one thing makes no sense, Gray learned magic from Ul, who was a total stranger at first and before that he showed no sign of being able to use ice magic but his 'father' just so happens to be an ice user which makes no sense. Also, Gray believed his parents got killed by Deliora while he was still quite young so why would his own father hate him so much to snap the way he did when Natsu mentioned Gray o-o.. it's a plausible theory but makes little sense.
BUT!!!XD What if Grey and Silver were just regular people with no magic ability. One day Grey comes across a book (Zeref's book) and accidentally released Deliora. Which resulted in the death of his mother, but his father survived and held a grudge against grey. So maybe Silver made a deal with a demon or something like that to gain power.
Maybe it was Grey's fault that Deliora did what it did and his father survived, if it weren't for the smell my first guess would be Ul's husband as well rather than Grey's father, maybe a brother blaming him for the death of his parentsWell that there was some kind of connection between Silver and Grey is something that was already speculated on, now we just got the confirmation. The nature of that connection is still not entirely clear. His looks, the cross, the ice reference, the smell and the silver reference (in Hiro's Rave Master Grey's counterpart character is a silverclaimer)...all of it points to him being his dad, but that doesn't make any sense for Silver being mad on Grey. Why would he be mad on his own son? Not to mention that Silver himself was supposed to have died as the result of a demon attack created by Zeref. That he would be Ul's husband would make more sense then as it would explain why he is mad at Grey and the grave Silver was visiting, but that would not explain why he smells like Grey and why he left Ul and their daughter as this means Silver is Ultear's father.

That doesn't change the fact that in that case Grey would still be his son. Who the hell holds a lifelong grudge against his own son who was a child at the time? And then joins the organization who wants to resurrect the guy who created the demon responsible in the first place?
It's a Japanese manga, everything can breed with anything and who knows how long they have been alive.
But, you know how it is said that certain people make deals with the Devil. Lets just say for the sake of debating that is what Silver did. And it is obviously possible that perfectly normal humans can be turned into demons (Minerva, What is happening to Mira right now).
there are people who resent their children if they think it is their fault that some tragedy occurred. We'll see what his job/intentions in Tartaros are, is it just me or does he look completely out of place?
