Natsu hits Jackal a few times, Jackal hits Natsu a few times, eventually Jackal blows Natsu unconscious, Natsu gets healed by Wendy, Natsu hits Jackal again a few times to finally end it with one of this strongest moves.

Actually Zeref created the books, which is still slightly different than creating the actual demons, someone used Zeref's book to create the demons, so he wasn't directly responsible for their creation. For all we know all the Book of Zeref-demons we've seen so far, might be complete 'junk' compared to when he himself is serious about creating one.

No one is expecting anything from you and certainly not taking manga, let alone one series in particular that has a strong emphasis on comic relief among others, seriously. If you now actually tried to take manga series seriously, which are in the end mainly meant as a form of entertainment, then your whole perception on reading manga is simply wrong. Don't blame that on FT as you were the one who decided to take something seriously that's not meant to be taken so seriously in the first place.
