it was an awesome chapter, I wouldn't have minded even if Natsu won, but this way it's even better, though the ''curses'' these guys have are really OP (so far), if Natsu is down, and counting Laxus from before, that is a major blow to FT. Without Gildarts and Makarov (which never fight anyway) FT's no. 1 and 2 are down for now ... if Erza and Gajeel go down they are majorly screwed

though there is one thing I hope Mashima does not do now that Natsu is down (by all appearances), I hope he doesn't make Lucy or Wendy get kidnapped, I'm rather sick of that manga cliche ...

Good chapter i would have liked to seen whether Natsu lost his hand and leg since they where turned into bombs, to bad he lost without using flame-lightning mode.

I don't think Mashima would make his main male character lose an arm and leg

I really liked the chapter. Especially when jaguar blew up the town. That's a real villain for ya!
Im curious to see if wendy and lucy can take him on. Wendy specializes in non-physical attacks and their are some zodiacs lucy has that are pretty strong.

Liked it but didn't love it. And well...seems the council knows about some hidden ancient magic that might be able to stop tartars or hinder their plans at least.

Also, the mention of jackal's curse makes me believe all the demons on tartars are humans that turned. As they turn, they receive the curse which is their unique, individual demon power. Makes the whole demon thing a beacon for a future talk-no-magic kind of approach. In the end, they'll all be humans due to the power of good lol

Somehow they'll get out of this situation , as if it was a "Fairy Tale". However, I'm glad that Mashima is already giving some death layout to the manga , hopefully Natsu will go full dragon force and kick the hell out of Jaguar

It was pretty good. This whole arc is starting out better than the Grand Magic Games Arc. That arc almost had me quit reading FT all together.

Not really. He seems more of a killing type than a capturer

Previously I thought his name was translated as 'Jackal', though 'Jaguar' corresponds more with his looks. Still Jackal sounded more menacing.

Dreadful ability, so does this mean every single one of them has got his/her own 'curse'? Weird though. If Jaguar wanted specific info, then why is he first killing all of them? He gave neither the council members he already killed nor this one the chance to talk. If Natsu hadn't been there, he would have certainly died.

Wow Jaguarl is merciless! I was beginning to worry that Natsu was going to own Jaguar considering that His explosions are completely useless against him. I don't think Natsu is completely out yet. I'm actually really looking forward to the next chapter! 5/5 =D

Not a bad chapter, a couple of things I would like to see. Since the next chapter is a called "The Two Bombs", I wonder if Gildarts, comes to the rescue since his magic loves blowing shit up. Or Natsu now has The Explode Power, and beats Jackel's ass. I like the Gildarts one better, and it would be interesting if Gildarts showed up to find Natsu to take him to Igneel. Or they have to find Igneel to help save his life or something.

Orrrr ... Jaguar turns Lucy and Wendy into 2 bombs and Natsu has to choose, wont happen, but would be fun to see what he would do ... What do you guys think?

He would most likely would jump in the mix and eat the explosion, and a plot no jutsu, would happen. Gildarts is highly possible I think.

Someone to put Natsu in his place, to make him motivated, make him train harder, to make him angrier, something that adds fuel to his fire. I hope Jackel/Jaguar gives him more of a beat down, Gildarts comes and saves him, Jackel/Jaguar runs away, and Natsu, and Gildart go off and train, or find Igneel, and train and find out more about the demons.

Chapter was a 4/5 average but good.

Did people forget that Wendy is a healer and Natsu eats Jackel explosions so even if Natsu would have blown up his internal organs would have just absorbed it. Thus we have have Wendy to heal his external injuries. Next Chapter Natsu gets back up and Just LDF Roar Jackel to defeat. Natsu isn't going to train he wasn't even losing he lost because he doesn't stop to listen thus leading to him becoming a human bomb.

Honestly it is as simple as using Long ranged attacked which all 3 of them posses to defeat Jackel. But I bet my money on Natsu gaining another powerup allowing him to becoming Nuclear.
