I love how Hiro placed the Rave gang there :T_T: but does this mean they will participate in some way?, or they'll just make cameos all over the place? Either way, I'm happy to know Hiro doesn't forget about Rave

Theory
If Lucy is really going to close the gates, the only reason for that to happen is if the Cannon will destroy either all the mages or the celestial spirits, I believe so because we really don't have any information in what role did the 12 golden keys took part here; simply opening the gates?
Now, if there are Ten thousend dragons coming to destroy the kingdom, then being no sights of them from anywhere could either mean they're not coming or (going crazy here) they're coming through the gates O_O wich could be another reason for lucy closing them.
Also, what is this request from Jellal to Lahar and Doranbolt? And what's the reason for Rogue to come back to the past other than kiling Lucy? Save Frosh? o-o

This chapter was alright, although nothing really happened. It was more of a setup chapter.

"You took away something precious before my eyes." -Natsu Dragneel. And so the fake drama continues. Future Lucy wasn't even around for 30 chapters. She had no character development, therefore myself as well as many others could honestly feel nothing over her "death." Like I said last week, it's a poor development because you're killing someone off without killing a major character. It's an easy way to create (fake) drama without actually affecting the story or affecting any of the main cast. FT NEEDS a real, serious death in order to get any sort of development. Moreover, look at this:

Well gee fellas. You sure got over that PRECIOUS death quickly. I love how Wendy does nothing to help as well. Also I don't really like how it's one big FRIENDSHIP circlejerk with all the guilds working together as FRIENDS to stop the dragons from ****ing everything up. It's really cheesy and there's no individuality or uniqueness with the characters.

Also, the FIRST and LAST things you see are a big pair of breasts. First Yukino and then Lucy. Nothing new of course, I mean this is Fairy Tail, but god damn. Smh.

The one good thing Hiro has going for him is that he's an incredibly talented artist. The level of detail in his character designs and the backgrounds is superb.

So yup. The chapter wasn't good, but it wasn't terribly bad either.

It's just a cameo, it's not the first time that one of them made a cameo, though as far as I know they have never made a cameo all at the same time.

And their role was supposedly already finished as it was used to open the locks, which happened when Lucy was still in jail.

Well Stellar Spirits live in another world with a different timespan. Two months in the real world is one day there, so that whole space/time thing is probably the reason why it's connected with Eclipse.

For Fairy Tail standards this was a good chapter over all

I like how Future Rouge is giving Natsu a run for hes money because it's always Natsu defeating opponents he should be losing to, so I hope Rouge does beat Natsu for character growth. That's was Natsu main problem all this time his character never grows or change, which made him a really bad character. Future Rouge is bringing that sense of danger is a very good thing. The pumpkin guy is the king random, but ok and I love that Rave Master shout out gotta reread that manga again because story was excellent.

Future Lucy death I honestly do not care for. Why? Because She was just there and no type development, yes it was a death which fairy Tail lacked, but it was a non important death. Basically Hiro killed his main character without actually killing her and that's sucks honestly. If Lucy died then it would be a totally different story and it be more interesting for the story. The guild alliance was cheesy, but that's Fairy Tail for you.

I give this chapter a 3.5/5 it was good chapter despite some problematics with the set up

I predict Rogue doesn't want to save the world. The Eclipse will bring the dragons, not stop them and thats why rogue wants so badly to open it.

Day late and a dollar short there buddy xd its obvious Future Rogue is setting them up to fail, and be unable to defend themselves against the Dragon's. Also I have been tryin to think of what could have possibly made Future Rogue snap to such a degree and then it dawned on me.........he probably got that scar while fighting alongside Frosch, Lector, and Sting, but witnessed all 3 of them die right infront of his own eyes.

But also I have a sneaky suspicion that since we haven't see any sort of Guild insignia on Future Rogue anywhere yet, that Natsu is going to blast off a piece of his clothing and reveal an FT insignia, causing Natsu to go into WTF mode......

Thats a nice hipothesis. However plot wise...dunno. Seems unlikely.

Its safe to say that in the future where rogue comes from, the events of the last day of the DE didn't unfold like they did this time around. Look at it: everything is unfolding in a way that makes them all friends with eachother. They will all fight the last fight together. And, if you look at it, its unlikely that Sting dies and Rogue survives wuch a fight. Rogue is injured and drained while Sting hasn't fought yet. So that scenario is unlikely to happen. As for the neko...probably... I find it weird that future rogue hasn't searched for past neko when the present rogue loves him so much. It also bugs me why future rogue has half his hair white.

Dam this manga where evertime it answers a question, all it does is raise more questions.lol

There is still something not correct with the idea that future Rogue is trying to make the dragons appear. I mean it's still very unclear how all that time traveling actually unfolded.

The Games were specifically made to build and fuel the Eclipse gate on advice of Rogue. If that didn't happen, then the world would have just went along normally finally to be attacked by an army of 10 000 dragons. Making Rogue going to the past to change that. If that was not the case and he came to the past to make those 10 000 dragons appear...why going to the past in the first place? Might as well have done it in the future considering then originally there was no threat as he caused the 10 000 dragons to appear.

Still, it appears the gate put rogue back 7 years from the day of the dragons when he was from the future 7 years from the day of the dragons.

Lucy came back 3 days when she was 3 days from the future.

and this is all pointless. We will never guess what he is thinking about.
