Great Episode. Love the sick intro for the two 3rd gen. dragon slayers. I hate how they are so overconfident even though they are the "strongest" of the three. How is natsu going to be able to beat those two? They have the same amount power as natsu AND Laxus. Maybe Igneel will show up or help natsu in some way.

Rogue and Sting probably knew each other and their dragons at the time and I guess after they learned everything from their respective dragons they decided to kill each others dragon to gain a lacrima and then implanting it in themselves hence making them hybrid dragonslayers.

Well Natsu's pissed(As always) so he will most likely get kicked out of the tournament,or not get kicked out by a whisker. Where the hell are Gajeel Laxus and Gildartz? And Didnt all the dragons disapear like 14 years ago? These guys are like the same age as Natsu how did they have Dragons?

Hmm....Gajeel, Mira, and Laxus joining the tournament at the last second maybe? Or maybe, in the next chapter, Natsu gets pissed and attacks, then they show up etc.
As soon as we learned they were hybrids, I knew they would say something about killing their Dragon to become stronger.

Wendy is the new member of Natsu's team that's why. Juvia is only a Fairy Tail member.
I'm also wondering about those two dragon slayers, as young as they would have been when the dragons disappeared how could they have killed them? Think about it Natsu was really young when they show the flashbacks of Igneel disappearing so those two are likely at least 7 years younger than Natsu by looking at them so they were even younger than Wendy when all the dragons disappeared....Wendy had to have been nearly a baby herself when Grandine disappeared, assuming she disappeared at the same time which I think is the case.
I'd love to see the two arrogant dragon slayers fight Acnologia and see them live to make fun of Natsu. I doubt they are stronger than Gildarts and he lost an arm and a leg in the battle with Acnologia.
why is the big question not "why are the dragons adopting babies"

Hiro is contradicting himself so badly.
When Natsu fought against Laxus he stated that natural born dragon slayers were stronger than Lacrima slayers so 1st generation > 2nd generation.
Now the hybrid has a bit of Lacrima too, and they get extra power somehow by killing their parent. But wouldn't they be stronger when they did this as a 1st generation slayer without the Lacrima ?
Or maybe Hiro is saving that for the 4th generation of asspulls.
3rd > 1st > 2nd ?
Besides I don't believe that they killed their dragons, I think they're fake and they are just asking for a real dragon to come and wreck the tournament. Who knows maybe we will even get another 7 year timeskip

Not necessarily. The Third Gen are the only ones reporting having to have TRIED to kill their Dragon. The first never tried to do it, so that is an unfair assessment of their strength.Hiro is contradicting himself so badly.

PERSONALLY, I think that the way that Gajeel and Natsu can get their skin to change to Red and metal respectively may mean that their dragon's didnt disappear, but were absorbed into them somehow. With them taking the "essence" off their dragon, it is the reason they are called dragon killers. The reason why they disappeared.
I was thinking that up until Alter-Grandine and Wendy met and talked. When could Grandine have passed the book to Alter-Grandine? It could have been the night before Wendy absorbed Grandine, or just some time before period.
Will Wendy's Skin turn Green in this fight? Will Natsu reach a full red?
Gajeel not fightning makes no sense to me.
Erza will fight and lose IMO
Lucy will fight and be insanely strong for some odd reason. Able to call out all of her Keys at once.
generations aside, didn't natsu retain the power he got from laxus after the tenrou spell was lifted.......that kinda makes natsu a hybrid in his own way.......couple that with this second container thingy happening and theres no clue as to what natsu's limits are right now

That's under the assumption that it were indeed two real dragons and they indeed killed both of them. At this point we only know what Sting and Rogue said in this chapter. Unless Hiro really wants to completely mess up his power levels and credibility, there must be some things that aren't entirely true. Maybe it weren't real dragons? Or they didn't really kill them? I mean when they were supposed to have killed two dragons while they were practically kids, which would mean they are above master lvl =/ By default there is something crucial we still don't know.

the template is based on Casualmisfit's template and I was the first one (technically it was someone else's post, but I edited it) who used that color in the FT section. The first time you used it, it was already around nine months in use.Well as I said, there is still a few things that need to be cleared up about all that dragon killing stuff.
Who ever said you get lachrima from dragons? Dragon lachrima are very rare, but as far as I know it has never been said where they come from. Not to mention it would be a contradiction as Cobra had a lachrima while he said that dragons didn't exist. If lachrima would come from real dragons, it would be proof they exist. Also they're supposed to have had their lachrima already when they "killed" their dragons. I mean otherwise it's really getting ridiculous, a bunch of kids killed two dragons =/
