First things first, to Gildarts, _O-

He's among the best funny hero of the whole manga - pretty much like J-Man in Naruto. I find all his decisions rightfully taken and finally Laxus has been re-instated but in the mess they are, Laxus is huge plus.
I wonder if the secret of the Underground shown to Gildarts will have importance later on...

This time-skip is really well-done though I must admit, I'd rather see Natsu losing to Max rather than scaring the latter with a Beast Mode and Rape Face. I really wonder what Romeo can do against Natsu; since according to Max; they chose not to fight against that Guild using violence.

And finally to the best twist which was that old Hag brought. So, she is a Sky Dragon :| Wow, now that's getting interesting...
She hates human, has healing powers and lives in an exiled place which goes well with the character of Grandeeney.

"All that is left for us is to believe in the human's own power ... and in Zeref... I look forward at the day we meet at the Dragon King's feast."

This intrigues me. By the bolded part, did she meant that "they'll need to remain in exile in human's form and believe in human's powers/restrictions until the day Zeref manifests himself."

So that could mean perhaps why all Dragons were rarely spotted or were spotted only when they decided to temporarily leave their Human forms.
So, apart from Igneel and other dragons, could it be why Acnologia was not spotted again after the attack on Tenrou Island. If the theory of humans being able to transform into dragon is correct, then Igneel shall be an old man with caring but fierce personality that often gets excited for nothing...

Whatsover, this is an excellent twist - brilliant continuation of a daring timeskip and very promising build-up to diverse storyline including those of Dragons.

I know this sounds kinda stupid but whats the probability that Igneel could be Marakov. I mean their personalities sound pretty much alike. And there's Marakovs connection to Poluschka who we believe is Grandeeny?

I can't believe Gildarts did that. He would've made an awesome Head Master, but he just runs off like that...It was nice of him to make Laxus a Fairy Tail member again. The time skip is certainly getting interesting seeing the time skip members not being as powerful as they were before compared to those who didn't take part in being frozen in time. It would be interesting to see the Fairy Tail members actually do some training rather than just pulling the power to overcome their enemies when needed.

ya it was be nice to see them actually train we havent really seen that element in fairy tail yet i wonder how there gonna get stronger because it almost impossilbe for them not to if they wanna become the number 1 guild again this shall be interesting

Well if Wendy could sense Granedeen on the old woman the chance of Makarov being Igneel is slim. Natsu has spent most of his life with either Makarov or Igneel so if there is something that can be sensed, Natsu would've realized it.

The old lady is potentially the Sky Dragon? That would explain why she keeps saying she hates humans, I've always found that an extremely weird choice of words as that would imply you're not a human yourself and it would explain those narrow pupil eyes >.>

Wow! I'm liking this timeskip more and more, Hiro realised that FT was overpowered so instead of what other mangaka were doing to make their characters power up, he put the time skip in to power up the rest of the world and make it a challenge for FT to regain their status as #1, looking forward more and more to each week's chapter

This was a great chapter I mean it showed that the guys at Fairy Tail weren't just twiddling their thumbs in sorrow for those seven years. But the fact that Natsu self-activated/used the Lightning Fire Dragon ability was insanity to the highest degree. I bet if he manages to train himself he will be able to use it without making himself go loopy like that.

As for Gildarts I had a feeling he woulda done that xd he seemed to have the same mentality of Jiraiya xd not wanting that kind of lead position lmao.

But all in all this was an epic chapter

What if the only way for Natsu and Co to get stronger is pair the Dragon Slayers with special mentors which will be their dragons in human form or people who have trained with their dragons?

The Co would train with the guild or something.

I love this chapter, the timeskip worked well in the end, though I still want to know what happened to Jellal! And Meredy and Ultear, what was that all about? Where they captured by the Council or did they start their own guild or they got married and started a little family or what? Damn, I want to know! Mashima pulled it off beautifully, at first I hated it but as it progressed it got way better. It is true, you mustn't judge a book by it's cover.

And btw, can anyone tell me why the hell this chapter is called "Natsu and Lucy"? Is it because of that picture at the begnning or what? (And that pic isn't fanart, of that I'm sure... they look too Mashima-ish)

Really good chapter glade Makarov is master again & also glade Laxus got reinstated. & the ending is really interesting I wonder if all Dragons have a human form. & if they do then I think that means Acnologia will have 1 & he will be the real main villain.
