[Discussion] Fairy tail big 3

anybody think fairy tail is heading in a better direction based of today's chapter. Honestly the last three chapters have been setup chapters but theyve still bern more exciting that naruto. Do you thing fairy tail will become one of the big three?

Because these day not only is everyone a critic but a writer as well and they want every manga to go how they want it to

FT is good but let's be honest there, it has a lot of BS wins.

>villain is stronger
>natsu now is getting pwnd
>nakama punch to the face

I hate it how a lots of times, the fights are won not with actual talent but with Natsu (and the others) suddenly powering up from some talk about Friendship. It's nice once or twice, but it happens way too much in FT.

That is completely true. What FT needs is a time skip or an Arc where all the characters train so they can obtain some skill.

Yeah but I doubt it'll happen as we already got a time skip. And Some of them trained in this arc but for only 3 months, while everyone else have been training for 7 years... Oh well, it's still rather enjoyable but I don't see it de-crowning any of the Big 3. I could be wrong, the future is an open world

On most Manga Sites Fairy Tail is rank 4th, I could see it surpassing Bleach or Naruto once those Manga's end.

Fairy tail is a really good manga/anime and I really don't know why people are hating on it....... I know that most of the times they tend to do it over with nakama power but really it's actually something........... Nakama power "Fighting for this who you love the most and doing your very best to win and protect them"........ In all honesty it is better then TNJ by Naruto. And if you look at the setting properly fairy tail has always revolved around the nakama factor, while in Naruto they just recently over achieved in TNJ

people mostlybash FT because of the few chapters at the end of GMG arc, personally I think Naruto had AT LEST 3 points that were a lot worse imo (around the KinGin filler chapters there were a few really really bad ones, than the Kabuto flashback and ofc the last 10 chapters - nothing in FT has ever been as bad as the last 10 chapters of Naruto imo) ... yet Naruto is still relatively protected from criticism

people complain about powerups in FT but powerups in Naruto are even more ridiculous
they complein about friendship speeches ... READ THE LAST 2 CHAPTERS OF NARUTO (and about 600 chpaters before that, Naruto spewing the same thing all the time)

not to mention Naruto is one big hypocrite: work hard my a??, there is no shortcut to becoming Hokage ... Naruto, maybe take a look at your father

sorry about that I'm a big Naruto fan but the last 10 chapters really made me quite angry

if you read FT and dislike parts of it than by all means offer criticism but don't be a hypocrite and pretend that Naruto is perfect

How about everyone agree that everyone has their won personal taste and sometimes it doesn't agree with another person.


To be honest I love Fairy Tail but I won't lie and say it is perfect NO series is. These last few chapters have been good but they aren't anything different from the past confrontations with the other 2 big dark guilds it looks the same. The enemies are okay but give off the same vibe as every other enemy Fairy Tail has faced. In my eyes this is just another dark guild arc just like the rest I don't understand the hype.

I love Fairy tail and the only 1 of the big 3 that I can actually watch and like is Bleach the rest is not my cup of tea but hey it happens, you aren't going to like every series out there but it doesn't mean it isn't good or bad just not your taste.

Exactly. Power ups gotten mid fight and them being over-exceed(fighter's power grows so much that its not even comparable to their power before the fight) power ups diesn't help their case. The big 3 have flaws of their own just as any series Naruto lacks villains, the ones in Naruto all have post traumatic stress disorder and so 80% of the time u get TNJ/in simple terms "a session with a psychiatrist/shrink". Bleach has a similar power gaining flaw as FT, its a bit too convinient how Ichigo gets the right increase for the job at hand. With OP some cry over the Art(but i dig it yo). If its to b a B3 manga it cld probably take Naruto's place but thats a tall order coz even if Naruto has been absolute crap the past few weeks it has had a good run over the years and its hard for pple to just let go u kno loyalty and all that. To me 1piss>Bleach>put in a few more mature manga>naruto&fairytail.

The powering up itself is not the problem, we know the hero has to win but come on. When Deux Ex Machina is involved, we get some weird explanation about the power up (Izanami) but in FT's case, there is no explanation. "I love my nakama so I'm suddenly stronger than the guy that was mopping the floor with my face" ? I'm all for friendship but sometimes, it's just plain silly. They disappoint me to no end

Other than that, FT is a good manga, the art is good, it's original and funny. And Natsu is boss when he gets angry.

Dragon Slayers, are unique, they're suppose to be strong enough to slay Dragons. Natsu is already strong due to this, but I wish he would be trained by one of the 4 "Gods" Wizard Saints, which would be okay. OR Train with Igneel.
