Well considering next chapter is going to be 45 pages long I would be surprised if he didn't make an appearance. And even if he doesn't show up it's safe to assume we're going to know which road he actually took as in the next chapter Mest is going to play an important role. If we know that Mest took the safe road, then Gray needs to fight Levy, if Mest is fighting Levy, we know Gray has the safe road and if Mest fights Gray he surely makes an appearance.

It would be lame if Mest, whoever he faces, doesn't make it to the next round. What's the use of introducing a new character that's just going to get eliminated so quickly? Also he's supposed to be the strongest of all 8.

Gildartz rocks. By just taking two or three steps, he pawned Natsu. He's good mentor for Natsu(he might have relationship with Igneel, who knows).

Next week three episodes. Wow! (This is why i like Fairy Tail which is unlike Naruto which always skips whenever its gonna be interesting, **** Kishi, no offence to the fans).

Nah! I don't think. I guess Natsu is stronger than Mest at the moment.

I guess we will se his history like how he met Mystogan, how he joined Fairy Tail, etc. Lets hope we'll see the 2nd Mystogan.
