There was some cover story with Makino holding a baby, in an SBS they asked if it were hers, and Ota was like yes and hinted at us knowing who the dad was.

Honestly by the end of the series I suspect that Law and Kidd will be having cameo appearances at most.

This isn't Naruto were each generation reflects the previous one.

So far, after a arc that deals with a character's backstory, one of two things happens, they either become a Straw Hat or they basically disappear from the manga.

Neither Law or Kidd are becoming Straw Hats, so after there story arc is resolved its likely they will cameo at the most for the rest of the manga, their appearances at the end of the series will probably just be sidelines with them seen fighting fodders or vice admirals, the author probably won't even go into detail on their end of series strength.

The author has many other characters to focus on and many other story lines; there are other supernovas, the yonko, the admirals, the revolutionaries, the former Whitebeard pirates, and many others.

Law's story has more or less been told, he will probably just be helping out for the rest of the arc, I doubt we will get another arc with him having a role like he did in the Dressrossa Arc, and after the fall of Kaidou he will probably more or less disappear from the manga, except for the occasional pop up.

This sucks compared to the alternative of doing the opposite. If Oda did the exact opposite of this, it'd be far more enjoyable to read.

thts kishi. Tht troll named the 2nd chapter Konohomaru and yet there is barely any mention of Konohomaru in Naruto AT ALL. Oda does not do tht bcoz

1) Even irrelevant characters like Koala WHOM we were all sure of wouldnt be seen again was re-introduced
2)Oda has a far richer backstory tht Kishi. Plus Law is gonna be relevant cos he's a D and he apparently knows more bout the D thn other D's themselves (par Roger and Dragon). And by the EoS the will of the d will be explained
3)Kid and Law are main rivals to Luffy and there is bound to be a showdown to determine who really is PK
4)R u srs bout new generation not reflecting older? Rayleigh LITERALLY saw Roger in Luffy (so did Shanks). So tht argument is flawed

1. Your right Zoro should be on the defintly list not the possibly.
2. Your right about that too, hopefully the rivalry between the Big 3 (Luffy, Law, Kidd) dont end after the yonkous the aim to defeat have been defeated.
3. Why do you think he wouldnt stay alive, considering what he has been through i (would like to) doubt that he will be killed off.
4. I would like to agree but atm im out on that one, I think there are a few pirates who will be very close to Luffy's level come EOS BB is the top contender but after the poor showing of Burgess its seeming like BB crew are a bunch of scrubs.

IMO Kidd has yet to show how he is stronger that Luffy, I mean his Bounty would be the only thing to hint that he is stronger than the rest of the SN, but when they were fighting the Marines as sab Luffy and Kidd were able to instantaneously cause the same damage. Luffy couldnt sustain it because of the draw back to G3 but that has been surpassed atm. I do believe that Law Luffy and Kidd will be 3 of 4 Yonko if the title still exists come EOS. Wouldnt it be interesting if Kidd and his alliance goes after Shanks.

I meant to say i heavily doubt Luffy will ever surpass BB in level, not Kid. Kid will likely be few steps below them

Law may die because of the ultimate technique of his ability. I doubt Oda revealed it for us to not see its use later in the manga

Law and Kidd aren't his main rivals, Blackbeard is, Luffy considers Law a friend and views Kidd as no more a rival than the other supernovas. If Luffy has a showdown with anyone for the title of the pirate king it will be Blackbeard who Luffy has been shown to hate.

There are several characters with the name D., more likely the explanation will come from Dragon who is also a D and will without a doubt have a big role in the finale.

At the end of the day Law and Kidd are secondary characters, and this manga has about a thousand secondary characters.
