Fai is energetic, while being enigmatic at the same time. He appears to be happy-go-lucky and good-natured, and acts very carefree. He often teases his friends, calling them ridiculous nicknames. However, Fai is a perceptive and a skilled fighter. He also appears to carry a deep emotional burden, and values his own life very little. In battle, Fai doesn't bother to fight very hard for his life, and will only do so if someone he cares for is in danger. His past is a profound motivating factor for his actions and is something Fai cannot seem to overcome; instead he masks it all with a smile. Fai is emotionally distant, refusing to allow anyone to become too close to him. Fai worries about his companions and would go as far as breaking his own personal vows to ensure their safety

Background Info

History:
Fai was born in Konoha and born into to the Hyuga clan. One day that he arrived from the ninja academy, he found his parents lying down dead on the floor and next to them was a sword. As he started to cry, he reached out and grabbed the sword and stabbed himself, hoping to die with his parents. He later woke up in the hospital and hoping to see his parents, thinking that what he had seen the other day was just a dream. As soon as he recovered, he left the village After many days of walking alone and hungry, Fai ran into a ninja named Toku, who trained him and cared for him.Seeking for more power, he joined an organization called Akatsuki.Fai helped the Akatsuki accomplish their goals while becoming stronger. When he later realized he was harming people while he was in the Akatsuki, he left the Akatsuki and settled in Sunagakure. He later met a young ninja that was a couple years older than him named Teno. He later formed a close bond with him and saw him as an older brother.
