Interesting that the first technique is only B-Rank, but can seal up to an S-Rank. But when you consider the change to Advanced Fuin, and how that can seal a max of 70 Chakra (For Fobidden Rank I believe), and B-Rank has that same 20 Chakra difference between itself and S-Rank techniques, and it's not too surprising. Shame that it can't go for Forbiddens, because I believe this was the tech Jiraiya used to seal Itachi's Amaterasu after their small meeting in the Land of Fire. Anyway, simple Elemental sealing. Wouldn't mind seeing another Jutsu that allows you to "unseal" that same Jutsu back to the opponent, but at that point you're basically ripping off Dark Release, lol.

As for this second technique, I mean, I think you're trying to tell me you believe in me, and think I can one day achieve the 8-Tails as a bio, but why tho? Either that, or you just goofed when you posted it. Either way, it's a nice tech and all, but I'm not using it, ever, lol. If I were to though, I would remark about the requirement of him needing to be in his full Tailed Beast transformation being bullshit, and that 3 seconds is an arbitrary amount of time, and it'd be easier if the tech was edited to say 1 turn instead, as that's more concise.

(Kuchiyose: Raikō Kenka) - Summoning: Lightning Blade Creation
Rank: B-Rank

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal basic ninja tools, like shurikens, kunais, swords, etc into sealing marks placed on their clothes or their body. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks". The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand. Sasuke even shown that you can have the weapons connected to wires and linked to their sealing marks and used the technique in sealing marks he placed in his wrist bracers.
Note: Can summon up to 30 basic tools per sealing mark and can have up to 2 sealing marks.

Body seal. You summon basic tools. It isn't particularly useful this day in the RP because basic tools aren't that great, and because there are more useful body seals out there.

(Kyōkai Kekkai no Jutsu) - Boundary Barrier Technique

Description: This is a detection type barrier which is simply a more advanced version of the (Kekkai: Tengai Hojin) - Barrier: Dome Method Formation technique and that can be used to surround an area and allows the user to monitor a certain area covering from the sky to underneath the ground creating a sphere. The user will create a tag with the 許可 (Kyoka) Kanji and place it on the ground, doing the confrontation hand seal afterwards to activate it. After the barrier is erected, the user, if inside it, will be able to detect any enemy inside it, even if he hiding his presence. After that, anyone who enters or leaves the barrier is instantly detected as well as anything that moves inside it. Techniques that mask the users presence are ineffective at avoiding detection as the barrier focuses on movement and displacement of matter, not solely on chakra detection. The barrier can also be moved according to the requirements of the user by moving the tag.
Note: Can only be used twice.

Yay, baby's first body seal. Pretty basic stuff, yeah. You have a seal that has pre-sealed weapons in it, and touching it brings them out. Like the Fuma Shuriken example, if they can be folded or altered for a more "compact" form this technique allows them to be drawn fully extended, shortening the throwing time. Sasuke using this in the Momoshiki fight was pretty cool, too bad this technique can't match how awesome those scenes were.

A more advanced version of the Barrier: Dome Method Formation, instead of clasping your hands, and keeping them that way if Jiraiya's usage was any indicator, you have a tag with a special Kanji, which, when activated, creates a spherical barrier that encompasses both above and below ground within the barrier. When inside, like the B-Rank version, you can "feel" anything moving within it's space. It's a nice update to the previous one, especially since you could slap it on yourself, and it'd always move with you.

(Tajū Mugen Hōyō ) - Multiple Infinite Embraces
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Offensive

Description: This technique is a stronger version of Infinite Embraces and is used basically in the same manner. The user will do the Tiger → Dog → Horse → Dragon → Boar hand seals and slam his hands on the ground, creating a bigger barrier than the original technique but similar in its essence which drains the target's chakra but also pushes down on them making it much harder to break free. The massive pressure the technique puts on the target prevents the target from moving unless it has some sort of enhanced strength ability, making it very difficult to break free from it. Unable to move, the targets are also unable to mold chakra above A-Rank while having his chakra drained. The barrier can only be broken by A-Rank techniques or above or by attacking the user.

( Hijutsu: Fūinjutsu Kai ) – Secret Technique: Sealing Release

Chakra: N/A (same chakra as the seal thats to be released)
Damage: N/A
Description: The user can use this technique to dispel sealing techniques of various natures by forcefully breaking open the seal or, in extreme cases, erasing/cancelling them. For seals placed on a living medium, the user must make contact with the seal. For other seals, being in short range of it is enough. Normally, to perform this technique one needs to do the confrontation or the tiger handseal.
Note: Regular Fuuinjutsu users can dispel Sealing Techniques B-Rank and below. Uzumaki bios can dispel up to A-Rank. Advanced Sealing Specialists can dispel up to standard S rank Sealing Technique.

Here's one of the coolest one's in the A-Rank list, and up there with Fuuin as a whole.

( Fūinjutsu: Seikatsu Kekkai ) – Sealing Technique: Living Barrier

It was a random fling years ago. Hardly "intimate". I lost an arm but made some friends though, so good times nevertheless. <3 Anyway, like the weaker version it drains Chakra, restricts Jutsu usage, and hampers movement. I do have a question though, what would qualify as an "enhanced strength ability"? Would that be anything that strengthens the body physically, like a boosting technique? Or does it mean something supplementary? Or techniques involving the body that perform stronger than average (freeform) attacks? Besides that, there's not much to ask. It's a strong barrier, and nice way to get Chakra back, and I hate it. :)

Yup, that's a nice one. Confrontation seal requirement is nice, but what does it mean "Advanced Sealing Specialists"? I'm assuming that's an old note from before the Specialty Rules change, yeah? In that case, would it be Advanced Fuin users? Besides that, very clear in usage, requirements, etc.

That last one's kind of weird. Cross swords, and that somehow seals away half of the opponents Chakra, and restricts them to A-Ranks, ironically just like MIE, but without the added utility of hampering movement, and only being Short Range, meaning they can just walk out of it, and it'd be useless. It also only lasts for 2 turns, which is pretty poor. Just going to call this one "Worse MIE", and move on.

Enhanced strength means if your punch does damage equal or higher than A-Rank, it can be broken. Freeform does nothing to this barrier, obviously.

( Keiyaku Fūin ) – Contract Seal

Description: The user, after having obtained some of the opponent's blood, touches a summoning that the opponent is controlling, causing a kanji formula to generate which forces the summoner to lose control of that summon. The summon does not fight for the user, but instead disappears back to its summon realm.
Note: Can only be used twice by regular sealing users while medical sealing masters can use it indefinitely.

( Suji Haji Fūin ) - Muscle Restriction Seal

Description: A special fuuinjutsu utilized by taking a tag that bears the symbol for "Restrict". When placed upon the opponent it generates an electrical current that is not physically harmful. However this flows through the nervous system and restricts the movement of muscles. This slows down the opponent and prevents him from using A-rank Tai and above for three turns.
Note: If applied by a medical ninja with sealing mastery, the effect will last until released.

( Shishienjin ) - Four Violet Flames Battle Encampment
Rank: A-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30 (-10 per turn to sustain)
Damage Points: N/A ( 60 if the opponent makes physical contact with the barrier )
Description: This technique requires four people or clones to use. The people must be standing forming a square, they will then make the snake handseal and clasp their hands. A barrier forms around them on all sides, stopping anyone from outside from coming into the square. If they touch the walls, they will be burnt by violet flames. The casters can add a secondary barrier outside to prevent them from being attacked by enemies on the outside of the square; although by doing so, they are unable to attack as well. Each barrier can sustain any A-Rank technique.
Note: Requires 4 ninjas or 4 clones to use.

With that first tech, simply drawing blood is hard enough. Recovering a sample of it during combat is no doubt even harder, on top of the fact that Summons only last on the field for 4 turns, and disperse when overpowered with a Jutsu anyway. It's a lot of unnecessary work when there's a simpler option.

The ability to permanently restrict Taijutsu is pretty cool, but just like obtaining a blood sample, it's a risky thing to try when you're currently engaged in combat. Plus, there's nothing that states that the tag can't simply be removed. It is a nice technique though, and seems like it would be a great way to put an immediate stop to the MIE counter of using A-Rank and above Chakraless Taijutsu. 👀

Finally, a simple barrier with offensive qualities. Touching it burns, so just hit it with a strong enough technique to break through. Requirement of multiple people, or Clones, while annoying, does make it more unique, though there really should be some extra payoff for having 3 additional people perform this with you. Whether that's splitting the cost up, or increasing it's defensive qualities to make it worth having 4 people involved, I'm not sure. Just think there should be something.

( Fuuinjutsu: Bunshin Torappu ) - Sealing Arts: Clone Trap

Description: When an opponents is prepared to land a physical blow, the user quickly creates an earth clone to take the hit instead. The earth clone will then revert back to mud, which uniquely hardens to restrain the opponent's limb as the rest of their body is spread with cursed seals. However, it can be overcome if the user expels an S rank chakra surge.

(Shisekiyōjin) Four Red Yang Formation

Description:
A powerful barrier formation noted to only be usable by those of Kage Level, whereby four shinobi, standing in a square formation, erect a large barrier that is red in colour. It was stated to be several times stronger than the Four Violet Flames Formation, and is highly malleable. When assaulted by a Tailed Beast Ball from the Ten-Tails, the barrier simply distorted its shape, forcing the brunt of the attack upwards while it was left completely intact. Its users can create openings within the barrier to allow passage. The barrier is apparently very chakra-taxing since at least two of its users are limited in the usage of other techniques, such as clone techniques, while maintaining the barrier at the same time. Despite this, the users can still perform techniques and hand seals while sustaining the barrier. The barrier itself is strong enough to resist any S-Rank technique known and, despite being opened on top, is very high and hard to escape from. Alternatively, high ranked ninjas can use this technique by using clones. In this case, only Sage rank ninjas have the necessary chakra reserves to produce the technique.
Note: Can only be used by either 4 Kage ranked Ninjas or, if the user is Sage rank, through the usage of clones.

This is a simple seal where the user does 2 simple handseals and slams his ground on a surface. Upon that surface, a 2 meter diameter sealing formula circle of kanjis and markings spreads, activating the technique. Any enemy that makes contact with the formula becomes unable to mold chakra as the sealing technique drains his chakra and his stamina. If the enemy manages to escape the seal, he will recover use of his chakra.
Note: Usable twice per battle.

Had to look that first one up, because I couldn't remember it. Became apparent why, when I saw it's from Boruto, lol. Anyway, Elemental Clone, Substitution technique, and a seal that restricts physical movements all in one, so it's pretty powerful. S-Rank surges aren't particularly common, at least in my case, so it's a somewhat high bar to clear for getting out of it, but a simple method all the same. Only real question I have here is why this technique does damage? First indicator that it might be wrong is that the type is supplementary. I mean, if I had to guess, I'd say the mud from the Clone hardening around the user could cause damage, but it's a bit of a stretch. Minor issue all things considered, still a nice technique.

Four Red Yang formation is really good. While it does require multiple people to perform, having absolute immunity to S-Rank techniques is insane, and the ability to perform other techniques while maintaining it is also very nice. Beyond the mechanical aspects, there isn't much to talk about. Most of what makes the technique good, like the open top allowing it to displace extreme force, even from a Tailed Beast Ball, or the ability to create openings for people to enter, was covered in the anime really, and might not truly translate into the RP very well. Despite how powerful it is, I can't see myself using this, primarily due to the body count necessary, but also because of how fights work in the RP really. They're typically one on one, and if you're fighting with multiple allies, you're typically bundled together. Spreading out in a square around the opponent would be pretty obvious too, so I only see myself using this for X reason in the NW for Roleplay purposes.

Finally, it's a Chakra draining seal. Not much else to note. It's like MIE, but without the physical restriction, and the Chakra being siphoned to you. Doesn't state a turn limit, or a Chakra cost per turn though, which just gives you more options in combat, which is never a bad thing.

The only answer I can give to that question is I guess the restraining effect also has some crushing damage with it.

Yeah, like I said earlier I really want to rework these techniques. They're cool and useful, but not under current conditions.

Danzo's petty revenge seal. Activates upon death, and essentially creates a large sealing formula that pulls everything into a seal on the user's body. Kind of like a black hole in my opinion, but really it's planning for failure having this on you. Besides that, I just have a negative opinion of it in general, due to it being an instant defeat in the games if you're hit by it.

While it sounds interesting at first, an increased cost to the targets Jutsu isn't unique. There are Sound techniques that do it for example. It's still useful, but not as interesting as it's made out to be with the first sentence or two. If I were to rework this, I'd have it be more unique, like making parts of the body further away from the seal be weaker, and vice versa. Like, imagine sticking this on an opponents right shoulder. It would then make it harder to gather Chakra for Jutsu in the left leg. Conversely, you could be helping your opponent, making it easier to gather Chakra in that same area where the seal is placed. That's the best way I can describe how I think it could work anyway.

Do have a question regarding this technique, and the next. What does "lasts until released" mean? They are indefinite unless the user themselves releases them? If that's the case, that's very strong.

The ability to completely prevent the opponent to use Genjutsu is, and I cannot overstate this, absolutely amazing. Especially if my assumption about that note is correct. Indefinite Genjutsu cancellation unless I release the seal? Yes please. :)

Until it's either broken or the user themselves releases it, yeah. And it sounds cool in concept, but seals have certain limitations to them that make it a little less practical than they might appear. What do you think some of those limitations are? It's a sort of basic question but an interesting segue.

Well the biggest problem would be that you need to apply it for it to take effect. In most cases this means direct contact with the opponent, and if not, like say in the case of MIE, you still need to be within a certain distance of your opponent, or alternatively they need to be within the range/ aoe of your Seal for them to even be affected by them, and like I noted in some cases, all it takes is literally walking out of it's range. And because they all more or less lack any direct combat-focused applications such as offensive or defensive qualities, with only a few exceptions, like Four Red Yang Formation, you're putting yourself in danger when utilizing Sealing Jutsu over something else. Like, say for example you manage to tag your opponent with the Genjutsu Seal above, while they go for a Kenjutsu strike. Even if you succeed in applying the Seal, you're still going to take that Kenjutsu attack, despite your seal working, because it doesn't do anything to actually stop that attack. That's probably why more than a few seals restrict movement and Chakra usage, as they then increase chances of applying more seals, or at the very least reduce the risks associated with applying seals directly.

Then there's the fact that seals, even when applied, can be destroyed with a technique of a high enough Rank. You're taking all of this potential risk to apply a Seal to a target directly, and yet it can be negated easily, and even in some cases, with a technique that also attacks you at the same time. Picturing something like Nagashi being used to overpower weaker seals, while also staging some form of offensive role, but that's a basic example, and people no doubt have CJ in their arsenal to achieve similar, or greater results.

Those are the largest downsides that offset the benefits of Seals, that I can think of at the moment anyway.

Rank: S-Rank

Description: The user, and two shadow clones that must have already been created, array themselves into a triangle formation around the opponent. They then create a pyramidal barrier around them, trapping the opponent within. The barrier then explodes, sending the opponent high into the sky, badly injured.
Note: Can also be used by three clones.

Last technique and then you're home free.

Pretty lackluster final technique for the list. Create clones, and trap them in a barrier that then explodes, simple stuff. Really nothing I can say here that I haven't said already, like how the type says Supplementary, but it does damage, and the Clone requirement is a large limiting factor in the technique's usability in actual combat. Still, glad to be done with Fuin training. Thanks man. :p
