So actually my dad got lasik done a few years ago by, supposedly, a really really great optometrist, but he's been having a lot of vision problems recently. I'd wait on it for a few years, until they've gotten better at it.

Wear lenses? I don't think changing your eye color through surgery is even a thing yet :pick:

You can change your iris color with laser surgery, the price would be in the thousand range, however my advise would be against it,it is more preferable to get contact lens of any color or design if you badly want a different iris color, there are even contact lens of naruto design

I want to get eye surgery to change my eye color. But I have three questions:

1. Can I get my eyesight returned also?

2. How much will the surgery for eye color change cost?

3. What colors can I change it to?
1. Before changing anything invest some money into Bates Method and see if it works.
2. Only do surgery with one eye, incase something goes wrong. You got the other one.
3. Use contact lenses and be proud of yourself goddamit.

So much pain for false gene advertisement lel

I guess people dye their hair etc but there's much less risk.

Reminds me of when that father brought his wife to court for his child being ugly. She apparently lost because she had loads of facial surgery done to make herself better looking. Doubt it was true but still.

Your eyes are browney red atm. What are you changing them too? Or just one? Always wanted a blue and a green or something unique.

I love when people ask questions like this as if someone on here happens to be an optometrist specializing in eye color changing surgery.

I support you doing this if it is truly what you want. Just make sure it's truly want you want and ask professionals and make sure it's top quality people involved.

Why would you want to change your eye colour at all?

I support you doing this if it is truly what you want. Just make sure it's truly want you want and ask professionals and make sure it's top quality people involved.

And why would you support this?

Eye see that this is your classic "high risk low/no reward" gamble. Consequently, eye must say that eye strongly disapprove of this eyedea given the superficial reward you get for taking such a big risk. Eye would only consider engaging in high risk behaviour when there is a high or substantial reward that is attached to it. This is what eye believe.

Even dying hair is not without it's risk. People have lost their hair, found them turned grey prematurely because of chemicals, and have even lead to .

Because I'm not his mother. It this person is an adult, they should be able to do whatever they want to themselves. Doesn't involve me, doesn't hurt others, so yeah, the dude can get a freaking rainbow eye for all I care.

If he is not losing an eyesight or the risk is minimum, then sure. But if losing eyesight is more likely than not ( Or in other such cases where they deliberately get a limb or other-body parts removed) it's just not them only.

The moment they lose the eyesight or get crippled in anyway even by choice they become entitled to certain privileges on tax payers money and rest of us would be expected to accommodate them because of their special condition- these are niceties and duties a society extends to it's members, in case of their accidental misfortune. But it's taking advantage of the society if you cripple yourself intentionally just because you want a certain type of crippled body and personal whim.

This post is too serious for me when the last thing I typed was rainbow eyes.

Cheers though, sith.

That thought crossed my mind tbh. Didn't know about the deaths though. I still value my eyes more than my hair though.

Your elite jedi jumps & spins are unrivaled btw Darth Plagueis.

No one here is an expert, but be warned, you will not get an honest, professional opinion from the people who perform these procedures. Never. Your best bet are eye specalists who are not trained in this field. This will give you an other perspective. Do thorough research on this and then take a leap of faith as a lot of beauty procedures are a hit or a miss ... and if they miss, there are severe consequences.

If you ask my opinion, I will simply tell you to get minor facial surgeries like a bit of nose, jaw and lips' adjustment to fix your look a bit. Korean surgeons are quite the expert in this area, if LOOKS are what you are worried about (it seems that way as well). Taking a gamble with vision ... is a risky endeavour and I would advise you against it.
