I also want to do this, but you should wait some years when they really have the technology to do it right. They can do it now, but there's risks and it won't look like a real-colored eye.

But beside that don't change it especially if you have a dark color now. You will look weird like an alien. If you wanted a nose, ear or eye job I could understand but changing your eye color will be weird. I could try to photoshop your eye color to a light color if you want to see how it might look.
