thanks for clearing this up for me +rep, but how could Tobi be Obito but be suprised that Minato can teleport when Obito had already seen Minato's ftg when they were genin. I mean I see the obvious reasons why there is a good possibility that he is but come on, you don't just forget a tech as powerful as Minato's while your planning on attacking the Leaf Village.

It is rather obvious how the attack hit Tobi. The real question to me is how the teleporting and phasing are one jutsu. Is the phasing just an incomplete usage of the teleporting? Since we know that Tobi teleports through the pocket dimension. So if he partially teleported himself it would be quicker and still leave his "spirit" in the original dimension. Yea Kishi better have a very detailed explanation through Kakashi next week.

its like kakashi kamui only that he goes to that dimension and then comes back and he uses that advantage th phase attacks and to move from place to place

and what you see is only a spirit/ghost when he is phasing ... and not physical body

To all people saying does minato go to the same dimension the answer is no, his FTG allows him to instantly teleport to a seal without having to move to another dimension.

Well Kakashi is right Tobi uses just one jutsu !

Every time Tobi uses his jutsu to send his body or parts of his body to this dimesion so he is phasing every attack

When he whants to attacks he leaves that dimesion and comes back to attack !

Tobi can appear where he whants because that dimesion is paraler to the real dimension ( he can move in that dimesion to appear somewhere in the battlefield )

Here kakashi says he send his kunai with kamui and when tobi phased to the other dimension he got hit in that dimesion !!

Tobi jutsu is to phase out himself and objects... so he can change dimensions... his traveling in different dimesions !!

Conclusion: Naruto Rasengan hit Tobi in the other dimension !

Note: Kamui and Tobi jutsu both are phasing out objects , attacks , people in the same paraler dimension the jutsu are linked by the same paraler dimension !

And the big question is now once again: Who is Tobi... At really seems ike it is obito even if that wouldnt make any sense... but at least tobi got obitos other eye... that would explain, why kamui and tobis S/T migration lead to the same place...

In relation to their eye jutsus, the connection maybe related or not.

But with regards to the new chapter, Tobi's De-materializing is short-ranged meaning he needs to touch the object or be near it however Kakashi's kamui dematerializes the object long-ranged.

Relativity: could be that their eye tech's can access that same dimension.

Difference: reverse action or application of the jutsu that they are using to access that same dimension. (not to disregard the chakra usage since Kakashi's jutsu is long ranged meaning MORE CHAKRA is needed)

If both Kakashi and Tobi posses the same eye with Obito, would it be possible that Tobi chose not to make Obito's eye mutate to MS in order for him to create his jutsu to manipulate the time-space continuum and apply less chakra in order for him to sustain multiple usage of the jutsu countless times rather than what Kakashi is doing and apply huge amount of chakra limiting him to less usage since his possession of Obito's eyes reached MS.

i still dont get how tobi's jutsu warps away his body. Its like a reverse of kamui. Kamui warps away objects at a distance. Tobi warps away objects that he touches. I still dont get it. And when he dissapears, its like he vanishes into his eye.
