Explaining what Occurred with Naruto in this chapter

As usual on Narutobase, there is currently a "war" going on between two camps, over two fictional characters. I'm not sure when people will just get over themselves, but I digress.


One of the ideas being passed around, is the idea that Naruto's Kyubi chakra is "helping" Sasuke.


There is no sufficient evidence of this, and I will explain why story-wise, it's simply not the case.


In this current chapter, Naruto had several flashbacks, and all that had to do with Sasuke, were about Sasuke "walking ahead" of him. It's not literally about Naruto wanting to say "hello" to Sasuke, or Naruto feeling Sasuke is insanely "brave" for jumping out ahead of him [Similar to the Zabuza Arc].

It's about what causes Sasuke to jump out ahead of Naruto:

His power.

Naruto recalled flashbacks concerning when they were children, particularly when they were pre/genin, and the valley incident.

The reality is that in these years, Sasuke was "ahead" of Naruto.

This was explained as being due to Sasuke being at a higher level than Naruto.

Some of pt. II focused on the fact that Sasuke enables Naruto to become even stronger, because of this perceived distance.

This resulted in Naruto reaching Sasuke's "level", and finally being able to "communicate" properly with him.

Now, Naruto is looking at Sasuke's back again, and having flashbacks of him walking ahead of him again.

If Naruto felt his Kyubi chakra had anything to do with Sasuke's current state, then he would feel that Sasuke was catching up to him, rather than Sasuke walking ahead of him for the umpteenth time.

Again, Naruto does not know Sasuke's power, like he did before. He can't tell what's on his mind.

The purpose of this is show that once again, Naruto will become even stronger than he is now, because Sasuke is there again as the main motivator. I don't expect either of them to be stronger than each other, because the story is not written that way. It's about two opposing forces working together.

OT -> His motivation has been to try to befriend, help, and eventually bring back Sasuke. The flashback had nothing to do with Sasuke being "above" him (although they have admittedly surpassed each other multiple times).

It was about Regret as the title of the chapter said U_U

Naruto regretted not calling out to Sasuke when they were kids and that was his regret because all the events happened because of it. The invasion by Oro, thirds death, Sasuke joining Akatsuki, Itachi's sacrifice etc

So Naruto doesn't want another regret. Its what the chapter all about. Dunno where you got the other stuff from U_U

Im a naruto fan, and I don't think sasuke's new susanoo was a result of kyuui cloak. I think sasuke obtained this when he unlocked his EMS.

Madara also has complete susanoo, so it only makes since that sasuke had it this entire time.

I hardly see the relationship between his motivations and Sasuke's PU. While it's true they are destinated to be roughly on the same level, there are times when one is stronger than the other and currently, Naruto is simply stronger than Sasuke, and because of this the story-line you brought up as an argument for saying Sasuke didn't need Kyubi's chakra to achieve his PU isn't valid. I do believe however that he could have achieved it without Kyubi's chakra anyway
