He thought that was awesome, Obito redeeming himself, and saving him and Kakashi. He is describing the current version of Obito, and how sincere he was, in trying to make up for his mistakes. This was directed towards BZ, because BZ has been shitting on Obito, and calling him all sorts of insults, while Naruto thought the current Obito was awesome.

He did the same thing with Nagato. In the end, he judged him, by what he has done (atoning for his sins and taking a leap of faith in Naruto).

Naruto already knows he has flaws but once he came to understand him and Obito was freed,starting to help them out Naruto put those flaws aside and saw the good in him .

Naruto is implying that these flaws are no big deal. It's utterly unrealistic, that's what is wrong. I don't understand Obito, he's unrealistic as well to me. What is worse is that Naruto just stands there crying instead of attacking Kaguya like Sasuke was. It made him look weak willed and naive.


The scene should have only been between Kakashi and Obito for obvious reasons.
