Explain Madara's Powers

Can SOMEONE please explain to me how Madara absorbed or cancelled Amaterasu.

Hashi stated "he can absorb jutsu?" So he is just as confused as me.

Sasuke should have killed Madara right then and there, I thought "perfect" when Sasuke attacked he was at his weakest. Madara cheats wayyy to much and Kishi never explains how he does it.

He took his armour off. Sasuke, being stupid, didn't simply Amaterasu him again and end his boring time as the big bad guy.


Hashirama said "He can absord Ninjutsu" because he didn't realise that Madara didn't have rinnegan anymore, not because Madara could actually absorb ninjutsu while blind.

yea your right rinnergan can absorb any jutsu and plus nagato got rid of the amaterasu on his body with a a small edo tensai.

it was before he got Rinnegan. he has a unique ability to absorb chakra. He regained his full power he had.

Actually this makes even less sense than the Amaterasu. How did he manage to escape sasuke by obscuring his vision, when Sasuke had a sword stuck in Madara's arm? How did he avoid Naruto who had Sage Mode?

it's something that you can do when your both senju(hashi-ashura)and uchiha(madara-indra)
he then absorbed hashi's senjutsu
he may not have the rinnegan but he still has the chakra that makes the rinnegan aka hagoromo's chakra

We know that some powers related to eye techniques are simply "unlocked" and can be used even if the Shinobi is blind; Susano'o is one example.

Madara also possesses the Mokuton, which can absorb chakra, so it's possible that he did so that way.

In the end, we know Madara wasn't using Preta Path (there was no chakra-absorbing barrier around him). Madara simply has the ability to absorb chakra.

Only wood dragon has the unique ability to absorb. Mokuton main power is to suppress chakra, not absorb it. That's why Hashirama need to put wood dragons around Madara to absorb his chakra. Mokuton can't absorb ninjustus too.
