Science doesn't disprove God.

Literary theory does.

God is a literary device, if you look at God as what it is: a sign/signifier that is hollow at its core to reflect your desire, my desire and whomever else utilizes God.

If there is one place that God can be seen, it's in a book or story or picture.

I like the Jewish story of the God before all Gods who thinks he's God and then actually there is THE GOD which is a source of everything but doesn't actually care to take credit. So the all piss n vinegar God of the old testament is just a cranky near God God whom is not as cool as God, but is God none the less.

Every religion is usually outside of logic, because just like religion logic is invented, so when someone says that is illogical they are describing a huge amount of human experiences throughout all of time and history, which have some strong value even though we look at them now and say "Oh My! that's crazy..."

So for proof against God I would say that I've only seen God in human constructs (books, stories, pictures, programs, words, etc.)

So for proof for God I would say that I've not seen the entirety of existence. (I just cannot jump that far or long...)

But seriously, the world wasn't made in six days, evidence is so brutally clear about this, doesn't mean that God isn't real, it could have taken God a billion years to make everything it would still be impressive wouldn't it?

But seriously, nobody on a naruto chat board is capable of genetically engineering a person nor would anyone have the means to go about it. It's not like you've asked someone to cook dinner, you've said " hay! become a top tier genetic engineer and have a budget worth hundreds of millions of dollars!" Also, we just figured out how to largely read DNA and map some of it, creating an organism from scratch is a bit tougher of an order. It's sort of like you're asking me to disprove God in 1910 by flying to the moon.

Side Note: To refer back to the text that you defend as its sole defense is a form of circular logic which is an enclosed form of non-logic parading as logic.

As a final cap: If everything is awesome, so awesome that you can't figure out how it got here, it still doesn't mean God did it.

On the flip: Buddha said it doesn't matter if God exists or not, the only thing that matters is that we increase our compassion.

What he said makes absolute sense. You perceive the world through your 5 senses. Your ability to sense things is a result of your brain interpreting electric stimuli. If someone can mimic these electric impulses, they can affect your senses, in theory, one could make you eat dog shit while you are thinking you're having fried chicken. To you, you are having fried chicken, but not to everyone else.

They have no way of proving to you that what you're eating is dog shit because all you perceive is fried chicken. If the world is made of perceptions , how can we be sure that an external world exists? You can't prove you exist.

What you perceive might not be reality, in fact you might not even exist at all.

Mmmm this isn't rocket science do you have proof for a God or not. You haven't provided me with evidence. Just examples after example without any sufficient proof.

You can't prove a negative. We ALL know this. I can't prove that god doesn't exist, the same way that you can't prove unicorns don't exist.
But if you are to make such claims, bring evidence to the table.

I don't know what I am talking about? I agree I was wrong about there only being 5 senses. But that is not the focus of my reply. You are quick to dismiss alternative views, that you didn't even read the full point.

You even concluded that I didn't know what I was talking about, there being more senses then what I mentioned does not in anyway make my response any less reasonable, but of course you don't know that because you refused to read it fully. Sigh
