This thread was made in relation to Sasuke’s darkness. Naruto has seen an evil darker self reflected against Shinjutsu no Taki. I suppose that not only Sasuke but everybody has an evil/darker side to themselves or the ones who have lived with dark trials in their life. I believe this because Naruto not having the life Sasuke lived spared him from a life of corruption/deterioration or in other words able to suppress his negative self and only able to see it within his mind brought out via the falls.

I wonder if this is evident enough for people to believe or at least to acknowledge that evil/darkness does exist.

EDIT: What I meant by the closing sentence was simply me pondering if people now thought with the whole evil Naruto reflection that Sasuke was not the only one and other characters in the Narutoverse could as well possess evil/darkness.

Of course everyone has a little evil inside of them. I remember reading this book in middle school called "Lord of the Flies". Give it a read for details. Our "evil" is just supressed or repressed by our ability to think cognitively, and by our goodness.

It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us (Marianne Williamson quote).

Of course everyone has good and evil in. we all fall victim to both sides. some of us let the darkness take over and consume us creating murders, rapist and terrorist. others rely on the good and become "saints", and other helpful things. but then there are those that are influenced just enough by both sides to were we dont much yet we dont do much bad and the majority of all are in this category and not the others which is and good/bad thing.

Native american saying:

There two wolves battling within our selves. (yin and yang) the wolf that wins the battle is the one you feed the most

@eyesofthekyuubi44, Arigatou gozaimasu for having my back.

Now, I have observed people?s opinions and I felt like I had to state for the record that my discussion was not meant to having anything remotely to do in relation to "real life" but rather only the Narutoverse if that was how all or most were taking it as. I thought I should just inform the viewers as I know stand corrected if I ever needed to be.

All good stories have an element true t to it so that it can relate to a wide audience, some writhers wright stories that have little to do with majority of People ,so they appeal only a few readers. The more a story has elements of real life in it the more it appeals to a wider Audience.
