...Travelling between places at a freaking light speed.
Kamui doesn't explain it, or at least I don't see a way of Kamui accomplishing that.

He does'nt travel at the speed of light but Obito's Kamui allows him to teleport to places in very little time.

There are no shinobi's other than Obito that can travel to for example Konoha without needing to mark a kunai. It's pretty fast if you ask me.

Well idk about that question, but I have always wondered how his body could exist in separate dimensions via Kamui.

You shove a Rasengan at his face, his head moves to the Kamui dimension as your Rasengan passes through, but how the f*ck does his body not go limp from loss of the brain stem to another dimension?

Magic Space-Time Narutoverse Craziness, that's how.

when did he travel in the speed of light? o_O

Lol, Zetsu even used the same words as me. :p

Anyway, the only explanation for this I can come up with is that when you kamui yourself OUT of the alternate dimension, you choose yourself where you want to appear in the normal dimension.
But in this case Kakashi can also do this.

Yep. Kakashi's Kamui makes sense -> he can transport his entire body or others' entire bodies into and out of Kamui, but if he transports parts (Deidara's arm), they get ripped off.

So we just have to accept that Obito's Kamui isn't explainable even in the context of Narutoverse physics.

Who said he have to go to the dimension in order to teleport? And no Kakashi can only go in and out of the dimension, two times at least and he's out of chakra.

i agree actually...! when kakashi used it on deidara and was about to use it on jubi, deidara arm was ripped off and jubi's head was supposed to rip off but obito's head stays intact....! i wonder how?

Well, Kamui is a space-time jutsu for a reason.
I believe when Obito uses it to go through things, the parts are still magically connected.
For example, if his vein is "cut" in half because of Kamui, then when the blood reaches the "border" of the vein, it is transported with Kamui to the second part of the vein, in the other dimension.
The same goes for stuff like electric impulses from the brain, etc.

That's just my theory, but I think it explains perfectly well how for example a lower part of the torso alone can move on its own and be alive - it gets all the blood and electric impulses just as if the body wasn't separated at all.

Who said he have to go to the dimension in order to teleport?

Well... because that's what Kamui does. Teleports to the other dimension.

And no Kakashi can only go in and out of the dimension, two times at least and he's out of chakra.

I didn't really understand it, but if you're saying Kakashi can use Kamui just twice before he's out of chakra, then you are as wrong as possible. :|

@BOLD -> Yep, this is the only way to explain it, they are magically connected. Since it doesn't make sense using real-world physics (but nothing else in Naruto does either) or Narutoverse physics, it has to be explained away as the "magic" of Obito's version of Kamui.

It's really not a huge deal, it is just something that always bothered me. :eww:

Actually no. People remember that U_U However his 1-shot jutsu that would've allowed him to solo Madara or Hashirama or Naruto with only 3 tomoe is overlooked, i.e. the Uchiha Kaenjin U_U

The usage of the technique implies it to be defensive and not offensive.
The barrier protects whatever is inside of it, but there is no reason to think it also stops whatever is inside from going outside.

So no, it wouldn't allow him to do anything to Naruto, Madara or Hashirama. If he could use it that way, he would have done it against Naruto/Kakashi/Guy/Bee.

If you could travel at the speed of light, you could go around the Earth 7.5 times in one second.

obito can't do that U_U
