Actually Itachi 'could' also have a boyfriend. I don't even think so myself, but it's wrong to declare that Itachi had a girlfriend. He had a lover, the gender is irrelevant. Nothing more, nothing less...

The Senju just fought with the Uchiha because the Uchiha were the one who felt compelled to fight against them due to following BZ's tablet and thought that there was no hope in the world, bar only 3 we know of-Kagami, Shisui, and Itachi.

It's a shonen manga (not shonen-ai) and it's known to have examples of arranged marriages before (like Hashirama and Mito for the Senju & Uzumaki alliance). Itachi was also set to be the head of the Uchiha clan one day. It's more than likely that his father had someone picked out for him in the future, and a few Japanese speakers I asked have agreed that was the case. I don't believe it's possible for a man and another man to reproduce in their universe.

But if it is by some weird, split-chance, then I guess Naruto will be in luck with Sasuke. XD /JK

Itachi shouldn't be on the list. He knew where he was going to end up and what was going to happen in the end, he even died the way he wanted to. That's not manipulation by far. The Itachi/Shisui joke is old, discredited by what's in the manga and an interview by Kishi. And mental abuse? Itachi chose the right choice and as a result followed his own path. If you choose your own way and it happens to be a little tragic, that's not mental abuse. lol



The bold makes me wonder how low the reading comprehension on NB is. The eye Shisui gave Itachi was on cooldown. It's not possible to KA someone with an MS eye that's charging for 10 years.

Itachi did it because it was the only way. Take him off the list. Itachi was one of the few people Danzo was actually straight up with. Uchiha refused negotiation, Shisui failed to KA Fugaku and that KA one-shot was gone, there was nothing else left.

I meant in the manner that Fugaku rushed to the idea of a coup before ever thinking of attempting to settle the matter by talking to Hiruzen. If they want a coup and it's viewed as KA being the only real way to stop it from occuring, then that doesn't exactly look positive on either side. U_U
Hiruzen let Danzo have too much control in the matter, and he himself should have gone to talk to the Uchiha right away instead of sitting on the sidelines and letting things take their course, while Fugaku should have looked into other options besides the coup for his clan to gain more political power.
