OP: Not really. My cousin went to see Iggy at a concert, Tino Wallenda did a wire walk around in a city very close to mine, met some scientist in the 8th grade, I also met the superintendent of my school district other than that not really.

Hm, I never talked to a "famous person", but I've seen some very close to me.
The first situation was on a train station here in Germany. Two guys of a dance-group that participated in the biggest casting-show of the country walked past me. They were kinda known xD
The second situation was in a smaller village. I've been shopping with a friend and on the way home, a soccer-player talked to a friend in his dooryard. We walked pass them and I didn't even recognize him. To be honest, the player wasn't a "big name" either. It was still cool tho.
