Hahahaha I laugh at this thread. It has already been established that the third was the strongest and surpassed those who came before him albeit in his prime. If you're a famous lion killer you've already proven you can kill one lion. You may take on two lions to test your abilities and you may even up the ante and test your mettle with three ferocious lions but taking on four is just plain suicidal not to mention stupid. Who would take on four lions?!?

Hype is Too debatable in this manga. If you want to say someone is stronger you need to analyze all techniques and all strategies and if you see you do not have enough info then the character's are undebatable.

Whether you and one or a million people analyzed it you can't change the designed made by kishi , you may know what the techniques are ( abilities Etc) and come up with strategies that you Think may work but if it never appears in the manga ( which is the only true source of info ) then it becomes void ( meaningless )

I am saying the only debate that is respectable is when you take strategies and techniques as they stand and analyze them..I do not believe in hype debates is my point. You cannot go off of someone's word in the story because then we have like 7 gods and 2 unsurpassable ninja's. Just because Jaraiya thinks Minato is the strongest doesn't make it so. You see? I like to take the technique and compare them.

Yes i see where you coming from i just expressed a similar point , everybody in the manga say this person or that person is the strongest so i dont go off that i take the info kishi gives and accepts it cause it can't be changed

Yes hiruzen was a top ninja but four against one would make anyone sweat. These weren't fodder ninja. They were four of the strongest. And remember that technique the third won with? Hahahaha who is to say that the fourth didnt have a counter for it? Third didn't want to fight either ninja. But he still 'won' despite the odds stacked against him

I would say he was pretty scared of all 3, but that Minato would be easpically deadly when dealing with 3 other oppoments at the same time and in old age.
