Eternal Rivals, in their fight with tobi's six paths they say lets watch out for which of them has the same abilities of six paths of pain's, which means they have info on them and once they find out that tobi's paths have different techniques Naruto says damn now they cant counter their techniques.which means that they know of their abilities, so they can win

The ball will be too far up in the sky for kamui to work. he'd have to wait till it sucks him closer then use kamui... but by then rocks would have already covered the core..

well, if they already know pein's abilities, then I say pein with extreme difficulty. I believe Gai and Kakashi were talking about how Tobi isn't bothering with the abilities of the six paths of pein because he knows that they've already developed strategies to counter those abilities. With that in mind I say the eternal rivals put up a darn good fight but eventually lose in the end.

that's a bit harsh seeing as how he had no knowledge of his enemy and still managed to kill one and hold his own against the summons. imo kakashi did really well against pein, and besides the kakashi then is definitly not the kakashi now
