Well, Sasuke initially thought that Itachi was the person that killed his clan all just to measure its own strength. Later he found out that Itachi made the decision to protect Sasuke and spare him from the threat of war. Why would Sasuke still blame Itachi if Itachi was someone whose arm was twisted into destroying his own clan in order to keep his brother safe.
Then when he found out that Itachi massacred his clan not for Sasuke's sake, but for the village and even though it made him suffer Itachi was loyal to the village even after death. This made Sasuke question his perception of the village which is y he sought out the Hokages to find the truth about Konoha
He was hated in the village, why wouldn't he be screaming? Not being acknowledged by anybody can be a horrible feeling. I just don't see why you choose to see Naruto so simply yet think one "needs to read Aristotle's Poetics" in order to understand Sasuke.
Literary criticism requires knowledge and being well-read in general. I don't see your point. The reason why I pointed out Poetics is that Sasuke checks all the boxes of Classic Tragedy hero, bar his rise:
- Noble Family.
- Male.
- Hamartia.
- Fall from grace.
- Action - not the verb action, but Action in regards to tragedy.
- Producing effects of Catharsis.

Kakashi has been pathetic through and through. I laughed my head off when Obito took his eyes back. Back to being cow fodder; a place where he rightly belongs.
Action alone has a whole aspect of Universal and Truth dedicated to it. Not to mention Sasuke also fits in with the general factors of modern tragedies.
Does it really matter when both Sasuke and Naruto are incredibly predictable.
Sasuke's character tries to hard to be an tragic, "woe is me" anti-hero. Kishi pushes this down our throats. He does the same with Naruto's tnj and such.
It's all about which character you can tolerate more. I personally can't stand boring anti-heroes like Sasuke.
He was an EMO narcissist in part one and he is still an EMO narcissist.
Now I do believe kishimoto,is about to mature him as closure to his role in the manga and as a result of the character discovering that his view of what was wrong had no basis. But at the moment, he has not changed in the slightest.

Actually, Sasuke never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him. Instead he took heavy burdens on his own regardless of the means. Tbh, I still don't get what Sasuke's plan is, or how he is planning on doing things
The number one reason why I don't like Kakashi is because he never once try to question or find out the truth behind the uchiha massacre. When he was told that the Uchiha clan was behind the 4th hokage's death, he didn't even try to investigate. He a broken character. He wanted Sasuke to let go of the past and move on without finding any answer. Terrible ass teacher.

I thought it was viewed as just a rumor that an Uchiha killed the 4th. At the time, Sasuke and Kakashi both thought that Itachi was the only one behind it. So I don't see a reason for him to have investigated.

I'm not talking about Sasuke wanting people to feel sorry for him. I'm talking about kishi. He constantly makes Sasuke look like the problem child anti-hero who everyone seems to worry about.
He's done this in the later half of part 1 and all throughout part 2 until the post war arc.
In this thread, I will be using nothing but scans from Shippuden since Shippuden is the breaking point for the manga and the climax of our characters growth.
In the beginning of part 2, we see the overall progress and growth levels of both Naruto and Sasuke. For the most part, Naruto, since we see Sasuke later on in the story. Many people were quite disappointed with Naruto's overall results, and quite frank, so was I. He came back from the timeskip, mediocre at best, with nothing but a

Now, one would ask the question, why did he only learn this? Was is just to preserve and show his performance later on into the manga for shock value? Was Jiraiya just too lazy and only focused on girls instead of getting Naruto ready for the Akatsuki? Didn't Naruto say that he wanted to bring Sasuke back? In fact, why does most of his character revolve around bringing Sasuke back? Instead of focusing on Sasuke, you should be focusing on your jutsu and ninja skills, but instead he starts crying when he realizes that he has failed and that everything cannot go his way.
Naruto's mindset has been the same from the start of Shippuden till his meeting with Pain involving Jiraiya's death. That's a very large interval of time, while Sasuke has been constantly figuring out things about his life and receiving development, Naruto has been receiving negative development through Sasuke's supremacy.
When Naruto first encountered Sasuke at Orochimaru's hideout, Naruto was so fixated on bringing Sasuke back, but compared to Sasuke's growth, Naruto's growth was pitiful. His encounter with Orochimaru at Tenchi bridge decreased his development even further when he

Naruto's further training for Rasen Shuriken was just to catch up to Sasuke, which again proves that Naruto needs Sasuke's superior signs and superior growth to notice that he needs to get stronger, but Sasuke's growth was already established during the timeskip when he actually cared about getting stronger while Naruto became a disappointment.

Whether his actions be good or bad, his quick change in goals adds more room for exploration when it involves Sasuke, as opposed to Naruto who always does what you expect and it never makes the story interesting.

On would ask the question, why he keeps torturing himself by trying to bring Sasuke to his side of thinking? Well, this is not doing anything for him and it is not making his stance in the story any more credible either. He even puts Sasuke on a higher plateau then his friends, which I find very stupid.
Naruto's development then begins to grow when he finally wants to become stronger for someone else sake, and not just for Sasuke. His vengeance for his master Jiraiya forms the peak of his maturity and his strength and he even

From this point on, Naruto's development decreases while Sasuke's development further increases and it shows who is better fitted for situations like above. Even during desperate situations, Sasuke is not giving up.
Sasuke's character from then on is well developed to the point that Kishi knows what he is doing with this character Sasuke Uchiha.

Itachi had a major impact on Sasuke's life and it turned him into a mature individual. Whether Sasuke's actions are harsh or disrespectful to some; you can't escape the fact that his characterization and development are well placed compared to most characters, including Naruto
All you really did was bash Naruto while you talked up Sasuke, I can easily do that in reverse. Not really impressed. If you're going to talk about Sasuke's growth then do it and don't mainly use Naruto in a way of bashing, you could have done it a better way than that.
