Jiraiya can distract Itachi with his summons and his arsenal of toad jutsus fire jutsu earth and maybe more
Jiraiyas toads can go underground and he has earth jutsus to attack from the ground
Amaretsu is only effective if it hits Itachi doesn't have blaze release like sasuke and he hurts himself and it drains him making jiraiyas job easier

If that was full tsukuyomi then the world would've been in black and white / red, and Sasuke would've felt like he was in it for 3days am I right?
