You forgot to bring up Tsukiyome. FTG would be effective but not infallible against tsukiyome.
FTG is good against tsukiyome because the user can get around his opponent to avoid looking into his eyes.
However this is assuming the user is well prepared. If the FTG has no seals prepared than Tsukiyome would be faster than the creation of the seals. Also any FTG user would be powerless once Tsukiyome hits.
In short it depends on the situation, but Tsukiyome would be an (E)MS users best move against FTG

FTG users can fight blind since they are sensor. Not as if they would need it anyway since tsukuyomi is 5meters range at most. At this range, it's clearly deadly for Itachi to risk such a thing while facing someone as fast as Minato having instant teleportation technique

I thought it was well-established that Hiraishin would completely negate the effects of Amaterasu, I guess not.

Regardless, Minato would not be able to teleport someone Sasuke's Susano'o seeing as he can completely encase the entity in Enton, [living] Minato has no means of extending his chakra onto it without direct contact.

Never thought about the amaterasu advantage. Even if susanoo is connected to the user, it won't help. All Minato or Tobirama have to do is mark a location, keep a clone there, and then FTG the susanoo and user there. This leaves Minato or Tobirama inside of it, free to attack an Uchiha.
