Episode 167 what do you think about it?

I agree with an earlier post. I think the weird animation was an attempt to explain the "crazy" Pein vs. 6 Tails battle. Naruto was so insanely pissed his girl was almost killed he lost it to the point even the great Pein couldn't handle him. I get it!

i dont see hinata having a hand to hand fight with pain or kicking the chakra recievers off :S

166-167 have put me off the naruto anime series, ay to much un-needed filler making it total and utter crap, 2 minutes of minato cannot out-weigh the other 38minutes of my life i wasted watching this crap. ill stick to manga.

of course man manga is great too,but in a a way the episode was very good too....it was aded some things like the mini fight with pein and kyubbi

wouldn't work like that... they add lots of bits not included in the manga... if you shaved it back to pretty much manga only you'd probably save at least 1-2 episodes...

i merely see this as a way to add more action, story and also slow down the episodes so they don't catch up to the manga... (as bleach continuously does, then cuts to a random filler arc mid story )

The first half of the episode was a disaster!X_X...towards the end(when Pain used his teq.to capture the nine-tails)It was pretty decent and the last couple of minutes where awesome both animation and drawing of the characters where good even the music was good.
