ok, so reading through the contract, tell me the key features of the contract just giving examples of the summoning contract abilities, what would be considered the contracts 'summoning specialist' ability.
Additionally give any examples you can see or think of of mythological Ents/Treekin etc.

I mean, I see your idea of ents from warhammer fantasy and if I were to ever do an army it would be them or the dark elves just for the models, but lore wise I don't know much on that front. Though on my side I love Ents for Tolkien's lore where the first elves sand and woke the trees and they have slumbered since the dawn of the first age.

Key features, walking talking treeeeees.

They can use earth and water release, gaining one rank in power up to S rank which gain 20 damage.

They get sensing ( x2 tracking)

They either get tree sap or poisonous pollen depending on the summon which seems fun. The pollen ties in nicely to Hashi. Will summoners be immune to this?

As for being able to yamato level wood, can they only use it from their body?

Yeah, there are a lot of examples of living trees, whether thats Ents from Tolkien, Sylvan from Warhammer, Bowtruckles/Womping Willow from Harry Potter, other versions of tree monsters etc.

So for key features, yes walking trees, meaning they have all the features of trees/nature, as well as being sentient and having mobility. One key or advantage of being a growing organism is the ability to grow/shrink, think of something like vines growing when absorbing water and getting thicket or thinning out. (will explain this later after first summon)

Yes, as treekin and creatures made of wood they have a bonus to the elements they naturally manipulate.

This sensing is not chakra based but as described 'atmospheric disturbances' meaning they detect movement. Equal to x2 as you said.

And yeah, the sap and pollen is good, but it has to be clearly and carefully worded that it is not related to the senju pollen in any way. It specifically is made differently. Ideally the sap will be supplementive and positive effects (healing, extra chakra, shielding etc) while the pollen would be offensive. Summoners are immune, much like how the creator of a med poison would be immune.

And yes, the wood is shaped and manipulated from their bodies however they can manipulate other wood by taking control of it. It would be like adding the tree to the treekin's body.

Any other questions or comments or anything else you need to know?

Have one Summon and one Summoning Jutsu tech apporoved;
first the summon

(Kuchiyose: Durthu) | Summoning Technique: Durthu
Type:
Summon
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: Durthu is from one of the original Seeds of the Treants, that grew from the first Glade where they were born. Standing at medium 12m tall, Durthu is a battle ready Treant who has chased off many intruders into the Glades. Durthu looks like several parts of trees that are combines and held together by thick vines, much like muscles that form his body. He is capable of compressing himself to a smaller state, which effectively creates a suit of wooden armour for his summoner. While in his armour form, he can still perform his own treekin techniques, however he cannot move on his own, being restricted to being stuck on the user. A side ability of the Armour, is that Durthu can manipulate his body to form extra arms, legs, appendages that are required for the user. These can be used to perform freeform actions, and non elemental taijutsu moves. Durthu is a master of using the Sap, and has a passive +10 chakra to all sap related Treekin techniques. As one of the oldest and strongest trees, Durthu also has a passive +20 to all wood related techniques, or the equivalent +10 chakra for all non damaging techniques.

Notes:
-Durthu lasts 4 turns
-Forming into the armour state is a passive move taking no moveslot

Read, Analyz, Strengths, Weaknesses, what do you think?

I like he can make himself smaller. Bigger they are, the easier the target.

Being stuck on the user not being able move seems like a drawback but i'd be fine with that. If I dodge, they come with me. Making extra arms and legs is pretty fun for close combat too.
It can do tai. So teekin techs get +10 chakra. Wood gets +20 damage too, or +10 chakra for those that don't do damage. You should probs update this to something like "Durthu's wood techniques are all improved by one rank in proficiency, improving their damage and defensive potential by +20 and increasing their chakra value by +10"

The idea of being on the user is more like being wood type armour, but yeah it also would make for an easier way if you dont have genjutsu defence and stuff too. But the way I picture it is like this when its shrunk down and attacked to you:
You must be registered for see images

Yeah extra arms and punchs or what ever you need within short range or can watch your back, etc.
Yeah as one of the senior bigger summons this one is focused mainly around the two key features of sap and wood.
I could submit in future, ill have to go back and rewrite a few things like the boost and maybe unique pollen or something.

Next is the Sap, this is the only other tech atm:

(Mori no chi) | Blood of the Forest
Type:
Offense, Supplementary, Defensive
Rank: D - S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 10 - 40 (-5 to Sustain)
Damage: 20 - 80
Description:
One feature that Treants carry is their internal network within their bodies, which contain sap. This sap is a special chakra conduit, meaning that much like special chakra metal, or chakra paper, it can conduct chakra and chakra natures. By secreting, forcefully channelling the sap out of their body or using chakra to create the sap itself, Treants and signers of the Treant contract are able to use this sap, either as an offensive or defensive tool, or using it to supplement themselves. Much like other natural elements, Sap has no elemental strengths or weaknesses. Once the sap leaves the user, it hardens after 1 turn, into a solid shape of whatever it was formed into. Breaking the Sap requires damage equal to whatever its value originally was. Treant sap has 2 uses detailed below.

- (Fuyu no shūkak) Winter Harvest
A generic and basic application of sap, the use of winter harvest allows the user to create blasts, streams or form sap into structures from themselves. Depending on how much chakra is used, the sap can be a small amount to a large torrent, or even condensed to a focused ball, still able to deal as much damage as a large stream. This basic application has no strengths or elemental weaknesses however, by infusing a chakra nature with it, the user can give it strengths and weaknesses of whatever element was infused with it.

- (Haru no ōkui) Spring Gluttony
Instead of creating a sap for Winter's Harvest, which is for more generally combat oriented purposes, a Treant, or Summoner with the Naturalist Specialty can perform Spring Gluttony, a supplementary application where they can infuse the sap over their body, or the body of a given target, which heals them for 30 damage per turn. This technique is a passive use, using natural healing properties that come with the sap.

Notes:
- A rank needs 2 handseals while S rank needs 3, unless the user is a treeant.
- S rank can only be used 4 times per battle
- Spring Gluttony can only be used 3 times per battle total
- Spring Gluttony lasts for 3 turns with a 4 turn cooldown inbetween

Damn a "create sap no jutsu". Its pretty cool being neutral and the fact it can heal 30 per turn with the gluttony is a nice touch. I think it might be worth using the naturalist spec just for this tbh.

Yeah, its just the starter, originally I tried to make it also a damage shaving technique but was deemed a bit too much with the heal. But yeah thats it for Treants for now, will need to be worked on. Any ideas just send them through and can work on them
