I really cant get used to the accentuation of the Naruto English dub.
Can you?
I tryed to watch a few English dub episodes, but it just doesnt work for me.
I prefer the Japanese voices.

I dunno, it is maybe that I have gotten used to the Japanese voices first.
It is not only that though I think. The Japanese voices just seem to fit more.
It makes the series sound more mature for me too, than the English voices do.
I dont like the accentuation of the character names for example either in English.
The Japanese voices kinda form the soul of the characters for me and listening
to the English ones, almost feels as if it is a completely different character.

How do you feel about the Japanese and English voices?

I watched the Naruto dub as a child, got used to it now. I don't hate on dubs or subs and I'll watch both but right now it seems I'm watching more dub than sub.

It sounds really out of place when they say Japanese names in the dub, and some voices don't seem to fit. They also often seem to over-act, making them sound unnatural, like they want us to hear every word clearly on purpose. Then again, if I were a native Japanese speaker I could have criticized Japanese voice acting as well :|
