As the title hints, this thread is about encounters in Skyrim, and mainly about YOUR encounters in Skyrim.
Post(and discuss about) about funny/interesting/awesome encounters you've had while playing Skyrim, be it with humans or mudcrabs ;D
Although I'd rather you focus on encounters with dragons, other creatures such as Trolls could be equally interesting!
You can post about as many tales as you want, remember though that some doesn't read if it is Caliburn quantity, so post many posts instead of one loooooong post.

Me first(played at master lvl):
This story is about when I found myself fast travelling to a mountain because it was the closest location to where I really were going. It was to one of those dragon head symbols you see on the map, and there I went.
I walked towards an old keep, then to my right I hear the sound of a dragon, thinking, because I had already cleared that area, that I wouldn't meet a dragon there ever again, then I realised that dragons don't follow my stupid rules about where they should be or not.
I panicked a little and ran into the keep, safe from its fires, which kills you easily when you're only lvl 20 and plays at master lvl.. So, I do what I usually do, let my flame atronach fight for me and divert attention while I fire arrows and destruction spells like a madman. It wouldn't be wrong to say that it is the atronach, not me, who is fighting, because it's stronger than me anyway, we both know that... It all goes well, I aim some shouts and well placed arrows, then the dragon takes off, still more than half of its life left, and returns with full life!!
After a while I realise how I am now fighting two dragons, who simultaneously fights me, dropping down one at a time. Shortly after, both dragons head towards the top of the mountain, leaving me with my atronach, still firing those firebolts. I see how they both breathes fire at the mountain top and it's obvious they found something more interesting, a helpless cave bear I noticed when climbing the mountain.
After long minutes of torturing the cave bear and me, I finally slayed the dragons! When it was all over I barely remembered what I had been coming there for initially, but remembered when I checked my quests again, and took off.
That was the most awesome encounter with dragons I've had so far, tell me about yours~
